Good conditions, poor pace of play
Course conditions were good. Pace of play was terrible. At one point there were 5 groups on the same hole. I understand it's not a top notch course...but 5 groups of 4 stacked up one hole is ridiculous
First time
Macoby Run is a solid course. Not overly difficult, fairly open with a few holes for trouble with water/woods. Driving range and putting green are a plus. Course was in good condition. Pace of play was slow, took 4.5 hours to play 18. Would definitely return though as the course was fun to play and very good rates.
Good course, slow pace
Several young men play multiple balls. That does not bother me. But they spent too much time looking for balls. Unfortunately there was no one enforce the pace of play.
Greens need to be cut
They should really think about spacing out tee times and not be focused on packing everyone on the course for the Money. I believe there were 3 groups watching people tee off because it’s always backed up
Nice course, good time!
I loved this place. A little off the beaten path. A gem in the rough, so to speak. Course was in great condition. Staff was friendly and helpful. The starter was a pleasure to talk to, very down to earth. Loved the layout.
Played long due to a lot of rain. It wasn't the easiest course I've ever played, but had a good time. If you've never played this course before put it on your list and go play it!
Great course, always in great shape
Always a great day playing here. The people who own the course know how to run a golf course. Great layout with a quick and friendly staff. I drive from hour away to play this course often. Highly recommended.
Great Challenging Course, Great Value
Macoby never disappoints especially their Par 8 (actual par 5) Hole 3. The pace of play was quite slow and wish we would have seen a ranger pushing the rather slow golfers ahead of us.

The course was wet but not bad at all for this time of year. It was nice talking to the owners in the bar after the round.
