Gem
Been hearing about this course for a minute, did not disappoint. This is no diamond in the rough, absolute gem. Everything about the course was well maintained. The hole overlooking Wallenpaupack was a sight to see. I will be traveling back to play for sure.
Paupack Hills is in great shape
Check in was seamless with friendly staff. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are in great shape. Pace of play was good with no waiting. Thoroughly enjoyed the round.
Fix bathrooms
Course is great!
Staff is awesome but there are No working bathrooms! Out of order for over a month!
They do have job Johnnys.. but the 1 on first hole really smells bad.
Please get bathrooms fixed pronto!
Really Good For A Hot Deal!
George/Tom Fazio layout in the Poconos, for a Hot Deal under $50.00? Yes, worth it, and worth the drive. Very nice golf course, with nice views of the lake on some holes. You’ll like the mix of the layout.
Small parts of the golf course need TLC, but it’s not in any way an issue. Some bunkers abandoned, and some grass on some holes (in the rough) are spotty. Some greens have some sports that are being reseeded, but it’s not a bother.
You’ll like it here for sure!
Weekday golf
Exceptional customer service from both Mary and Donna during my last three visits. Looking forward to playing again soon when the snack bar opens!! Great to see constant improvements on going!
Great course
Pretty views glad to see this course come back into shape. Bunkers could use a little help but they need time to recover from being closed for basically 2 years
Paupack Hills - Pleasantly Surprised
Our foursome enjoyed this course. The staff is very welcoming. The course is in great shape for a recently reopened course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all in great shape. The only visible need for improvement is the bunkers. I expect in time that will be taken care of.
The course has wide enough fairways that will not punish your tee shots. Here in Pennsylvania, there are plenty of courses with tight, heavily wooded fairways that demoralize you. It is a relief not to worry about it here. There are more short holes than other courses, but they will challenge your shot placement skills.
This was a nice course to play, and our foursome will be back.
Ladies
Course is in great shape.
Only complaint I have is on 2 or 3 holes the ladies tee (red tee) in in the fairways,and on a slant? That would never be ok for the men (white tee bow).
Hopefully soon they will correct that. ! Just move the tees back with the white if you don't want to make new boxes. Thanks
Really nice area
Wow beautiful area and the course is reasonable and in great shape. We played with one of the home owners and Kieth made the round very enjoyable. I will be back, the absence of a formal pro shop was odd but, nothing to discourage me bragging about the pretty little course by the lake.
