Diabolical greens and pin placements
I survived another Donald Ross course with borderline unfair greens with crazy pun positions. ball should not roll back past where originally putted from ! bunkers in great shape. I doubt I will be back!
Rain out
We were able to play 4 holes before the heavens opened up. Standing water forced a course shutdown, I’m hopeful that golf now will honor the rain check that the pro shop told us to ask for.
Unfriendly staff and awful tee boxes.
The course pro that we checked in with was not friendly and kind of just weird. The tee boxes were not level at all so you either had to stand above or below the ball which was really annoying considering it’s 60/person. Other than that no complaints
Great Condition
Course is in as good or better condition then most courses in the area. Pace was right on. Clubhouse has a great steak sandwich.
Starter ruined the round for us,
Play here frequently yesterday was my final time, showed up 20 mins early for my tee time and started proceeded to group up 2 groups of 2 who had LATER tee times and sent them out befor us, when questioned he says “my house my rules”, he is lucky Inecently found God or I have wrapped. Driving iron over his bald head. Anyways 4.5 hours later we were finally done, yes you read that right 4.5 hours for a 2 some who both have a 10 handicap, the course itself is very nice and in good shape. Greens are like putting on ice but consistent.
Nice Course
Really nice old school course with small greens. Much improved conditions recently as well. It’s not as short as it looks
Great course. But starter needs to relax we were a 3 he paired us with another I ask for a cart he said no I have to ride with that person and I don’t allow 3 carts out with a group. It was 1pm and about 20 carts sitting there were you expecting a rush? Then as I’m teeing off 9 I see a group of 4 go out and surprise surprise 3 carts and same starter??? Now only reason I asked for a cart is because the guy I was riding with is a smoker and not just cigarettes only
Worth the trip
We are over an hour away but read how wonderful the course was.
It lived up to its billing.
We will be back.
Somewhat odd, was the fact that they started us on 9.
Should have asked if that’s normal.
Fairways were immaculate.
Greens are very tough.
Roller coaster rides on some with severe slopes
Great Course - Updates Clubhouse Needed
Jeffersonville is great as a golf course. The fairways and greens are nicely trimmed and they continue to update tee boxes, bunkers and other hazard areas. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help out, so much so that 1 of our 4 some was running late and the ranger drove him out to us on the 2nd hole. I definitely am going to play here again. However, the following updates need to be made to make it a great gold experience. Add in either a small range or netted area (Golden Pheasant’s netted area was the best not driving range practice facility I have seen) for practice prior to the round, as the course does have a lot of twists and turns that require exact shot making on a regular basis. Also, the clubhouse is badly in need of updating. The locker room is extremely run down, and the bar area/halfway house is very small, to the point where you are not inclined to grab a beer/food after the round.
Great course terrible “clubhouse”
The course is fantastic and extremely well kept- clearly management has focused on this (which I don’t mind) but also they desperately need to update their clubhouse and bathrooms
Bc they are disgusting. There is carpet on the way to the bathrooms and it is gross.
