Middletown Country Club

Good course for someone to learn on. Greens were in excellent condition considering how much rain we’ve had in the last two weeks. Halfway house and club house could use some work but they had the essentials. Staff members were all friendly.

This course has sloping fairways, sloping greens, and challenging par 3’s. Get ready to feel frustrated.

Before we tee'd off, the starter claimed the course was in great condition. Well, I think he needs his eyes checked because that couldn't be further from the truth. If you're a fan of pot holes on the tee boxes and greens as hairy as an adult film actress from the 70s, then this is the course for you. There was a brick in the middle of the 7th fairway. On top of all of this it took us 3 hours to play 5 holes. We went into the pro shop to ask for a refund or rain check and they wouldn’t refund us. Take your money elsewhere.

Entirely too long

Group in front of us were learning the game (not on a Sunday) People jumping holes, including someone that said they worked there, and a ranger driving around that was not moving them along

They are fixing the course up much better then it was a couple years back.

Probably best if you avoid this course. Much better options for the same money.

Stopped playing this course a few years back , I’m not going to bash it because I’ve seen much improvement, Greens were in great shape , fairways were definitely improved , a lot of trees removed , there’s a few more I’d like to see gone . Overall I was pleasantly surprised, keep it going in the right direction !

Greens and fairways were in excellent shape, has a fun layout and the staff is amazing. Will definitely be back soon.

Played here for the second time this year. First time was extremely disappointed in the course conditions and said I wouldn’t be going back. But got one of the hot deals for $28 on weekday vs $75 for a Sunday morning. I couldn’t pass that up. Tees were still in horrific shape, greens are inconsistent. Fairways are ok, but if your in the rough there is crabgrass every where if there is grass at all. Sand traps don’t have any sand. Where there was tree/shrubs removed it was never regraded. Can’t complain too much about a less then $30 round. But it’s not worth the normal price.

Fairways were decent, greens were meh, but those darn teeboxes were horrible. The red and yellows looked half decent but the white teeboxes were uneven and pretty much just weeds and dirt. I'm never one to bash a course as long as they try to mediate an issue like this, but they have been like this for as long as I can remember!

This course has shown improvement over the last year. I've played it many times. Fairly short, and pretty open. They have done a lot of work over the last year, and the course is showing signs of improvement. The tee boxes are in need of a lot of attention. Other than that, keep up the good work!

I wish they would just sell this course to new owners. Maybe then they would care just awful course. You should be paid to pay this dump.

Pace of play was slow, had a twosome who were slow and a foursome who was slower in front of them. We had a foursome behind us who kept hitting up on us because they were waiting too long. We could only go as fast as the twosome in front of us. Tee boxes still need work but greens are in good shape. They need to kill all the crabgrass since it looks like it’s taking over. Bunkers need some more sand since it seems like it’s half sand and half red dirt. Good drinks and food afterwards and bartender was good. Course needs some work

Played this course many times. Almost always the same. Some changes to the holes with trees removed. Still the same course.
