OK so I went on Golfnow earlier this week and the rate was 58 dollars. Get there today and 77. I have to say I know it is really early in the season and was surprised at the price compared to the course conditions.

5 holes have temporary bunkers

16 has a temp tee box that is 100 yards up from regular tee box

Tee boxes are dirt (took a lot of pics but GolfNow wont upload)

Bunkers are filled with water and not raked

A lot of bunkers don’t have rakes to even get a good lie

If this course wants to charge these rates then they need to be better or on par with other courses.

Several of the tee box s are terrible. Greens are very good for the most part. Bunkers are not in very good shape.

The course was a very good value.

I had a wonderful time playing on this course. We didn't finish the whole 18 because of darkness.

I accidentally scheduled the wrong Date for a Tee Time on Golf Now. It was my mistake. The staff found a way to squeeze me in so I could get to play today. First class customer service and staff! I frequent here often and will be returning of course. I hear people talk trash on this place because of the conditions, but in my opinion the course is challenging enough for an amateur and if the customer service is on point, I’ll always be a returning customer. I’d rather play at a place where I feel welcome anytime than a place who could care less if I get to play or not which I’ve been subjected to in the past and other courses.

We prepaid for our round and got a nice discount. For what we paid, it was worth it and I’d recommend playing here on a deal. With that said, the halfway house was closed, there was no beverage cart, and the grille room was closed too. I realize it’s the off-season, but there were literally zero food options for us at the course. The course conditions were not very good. The greens were in rough shape and some of the tee boxes were severely lacking in grass. Again, it’s winter so we tempered our expectations. For what we paid, it was worth it. But I would never pay the full rack rate to play here.

Every hole is different. Par 3’s are tough. They are replacing sand traps with sod.

Very accommodating staff interesting old school layout very hilly small greens in good shape except for a few tees that are a little beat up which hopefully will be addressed come springtime

Course was busy on sunny 50degree+ December day. Tee'd off right on time at 12:30, groups in front kept moving and can't believe putted out at exactly 3:30. Lots of new cart paths, trees removed and greens very nice (some ball marks weren't fixed by players).

Greens and fairways were in good condition. The tee boxes were in need of grass on several holes. Challenges were plentiful. Recommend this course.

First time coming here. Didn't have any cart keys left to start off(but did have 9 carts sitting there, just somehow had no keys), started basically refused to speak just sat there eating his sandwich. Pace of play was just over 5 hours...no one on the course monitoring this, makes it extremely difficult to play as we didn't even make it past the 13th hole with a 2pm tee time before the course Marshall started screaming at us to get off the course. I assumed the end of the world was coming given the tone of voice he urged us off the course with. In the end, this is what you have to expect now I guess when they jam in as many groups as possible. God forbid they just raised the price and took out some tee times so one could enjoy playing golf....lol that'll be the day.

Course was in relatively good shape, many tee boxes however were pretty beat up. Pace of play was really slow due to so many players on the course ahead of our foursome.

Hadn’t played here in about 20 years, when it was just an ok golf course, and the time has served it well. Although some of the obviously overplayed white tees were in rough shape, the tips (blues) were fine and fairways and greens were in very nice shape. A lot a really great holes - plenty of elevation changes and water to add to the challenge - and although it’s only a par 69, it’s a definitely legit test from the blues. Great value for the money, however, I’d be nervous to play this course on a weekend or holiday as some of the fairways are very close to each other without a lot of physical (I.e. trees) separating them.
