Middletown Country Club
About
Middletown Country Club has been one of Bucks County's major golfing destinations for more than a century. Originally designed as a nine-hole golf course in 1913 by Scottish architect Alexander Findlay, the second nine was added three years later. In the many years since opening, the golf course has undergone renovations by both George Fazio and Stephen Kay. This tough course is proof that a layout doesn't have to be 7,500-plus yards to be a challenge. Although the Middletown C.C. golf course plays to a seemingly modest yardage of 6,217 from the back tees, the rolling terrain provided by its location in the scenic Neshaminy Valley makes the course seem much longer. The small greens have plenty of undulations and you'll also be faced with a variety of uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies. There are also towering trees looming above the fairways and water comes into play throughout the golf course as well.

Good shape for early in the year!
Course conditions were in good shape for mid April. The new tees are coming in nicely. The staff were fantastic.
1st time at MCC.
The course was in great shape. The tee boxes were being redone. Had to play from temporary boxes but that's expected. Will definitely go back.
Greens need work
No fault of the groundskeeper. The green are abused by locals with offroad toys
Needed repairs are in progress
Tuesday afternoon and warm for October was definitely the draw. It already started, but now trying to beat the barrage of leaves soon to come to future rounds. This course is generally well maintained and the fairways and greens were In good shape. The one big issue this round was a lot of active groundskeeping and construction; mostly of tee boxes. There were a lot of temporary tee boxes and active construction of new or replacement boxes. It understandable they would do it this time of year, so that all can be in great shape in the spring. All in all it was a good time playing with others who were local and frequent players at this course.
