This course has a fun and unique layout. Every hole offers something different. Course conditions (bunkers excluded) were perfect. All fairways were "carpet-like," and the greens were in good shape, putting at medium speed, i.e. they weren't real fast, but they were not slow either. A minor pet peeve of mine with this course are the bunkers. They really don't maintain them at all, and they could all use a major dose of NEW SAND (It's been this way for years though)! I love this course and look forward to many more rounds of quality golf at Royal Oaks.
Nice course with some very challenging holes
Course was in great condition and operations were very organized
Royal Oak
Course is excellent shape! Enjoy playing there and the staff is outstanding. Look forward to being able to get into the clubhouse again.
Nice Course to Play
The course was in good shape and the pace of play was fine for as busy as they were.
Great course
The course played fast as there was no one holding us up, The fairways and greens were in great shape.
Great Course
First time playing the course and it was fun to play, a lot of challenging holes an course layout awesome. Will play again for sure,
A sad decline Of a great course
the course was in very poor condition and at times you had to move your ball on the green in order to put because the greens were so terrible.Inconsistent greens in terms of speed was maddening. The cups Were smaller because the grass over grew the edges. Some of the tees were in terrible condition. This course used to be fabulous but Poor maintenance is obvious. The course does not drain well and some of the fairways were wet and spongy and it seems that the lack of maintenance includes no effort to remedy this problem. I will not play this course again until I see better reviews
Enjoyed very much course has some real challenges and real nice layout in great shape for this time of year
Royal Oaks
Playing in January in PA is a stolen day. We had a good time. Course conditions were what you would expect in the Wintet.
Great
More ball washers with soap & water, please. Tee boxes need work, Fairways & greens great. Nice practice area.
Could be a nice course
This place could be awesome, for the past 10+ years the greens have been terrible. And the whole place is coming down around it, it’s a shame this could be an awesome facility!
Nice!
Course has some grass trouble over July and August but has recovered nicely. Greens were really nice. Course is in great shape. Staff was very friendly. Pace of play was 3.5 hours for a foursome. Great time!
Poor condition
I took my son here for the very first time. We were both very disappointed with the conditions of the greens and fairways. I remember this course being one of the better courses to play in the area. Unfortunately, we will not be back anytime soon even though we received a certificate to play it again with cart fee.
Rough Shape
Once a very nice course, it was in extremely poor shape from fairway to greens. Had a good price through Golfnow but certainly can not recommend this course in its current condition.
