Solid Day
Great day and shot a solid score. Greens we’re great, second cut wasn’t great quality, but not a huge deal. Fairways were in great condition. My only complaint was that they overbooked for the day with an afternoon event and insisted we speed up multiple times even though our pace was pretty fast as it is. I hate being rushed, so that was not a great feeling. Otherwise, all was good.
Horrific experience
Don’t play on Tuesdays. Apparently there is a senior league that they don’t tell you about and the seniors take over 5 hours to play. The “golf pro” as he calls himself, is an arrogant teenager or at least he acts like one. They don’t do anything to keep the pace of play going. Don’t waste your money or time.
9 minute intervals for tee times
Normally I really enjoy this course. I play there at least a half a dozen times a season and have never had a problem. This last time we were confronted by the starter for pace of play. A group called the clubhouse to complain that play was slow. When the starter came to us we were on the tee box the group in front of us was just leaving the green the group in front of them was on the green...you see where I am going with this. When we got to the 9th hole we were 10 minutes ahead of the clock that shows pace of play.
