Great course
Mainland golf course is a great track. I’m new to the area and I’m glad this course is close by. Friendly staff, course always in great condition, nice layout ( hole 16 gets me every time lol). I recommend this course to anyone in the area looking for a great course to play.
Has potential
This course has potential, great staff, carts were being sanitized as players were finishing, which was reassuring. The only gripe I have with the experience this day was the conditions of the course. It was opens for the first time in what I assume is more than a month and a half, and the greens look like they were JUST aerated last weekend which makes no sense to me. Overall would go back, but just seems like the upkeep
Could’ve been better in a time when no one was using the course.

Every tee shot was blind, slow pace of play, greens were some of the slowest ive ever played, fairways were patchy and has craters everywhere. but for $28 a head, not the worst ever.

Danger! Danger!
Wear a helmet when playing this course. On just about every hole you’re in danger of being bombed by balls from one or more other holes. Many blind tee shots add to the fun. And watch out for cars on the multiple road crossings required.

Thank you for playing. Our course does put a premium on accuracy and we are not unique in having to cross a road. Glad you liked the bar though.
Quick round
I experience a quick but enjoyable round with another golfer I met at hole three. We payed through another group and finished the round in 3 hours. Due to aeration of the greens our putting was suspect. The staff was friendly and courteous. I had a good day. Thx you.

Overvalued
Course has a lot of blind shots from the tee.Course conditions were not good. Greens had been air raided. The bunkers had no sand and the dirt in them were loaded with rocks.
I don't understand the 4 star rating.
The greens are in great shape now and we are currently working on the bunker project and have redone some already. Thanks for playing.
Humid day
Despite being rather humid I enjoyed my golf day. The staff was friendly and courteous. I finished the round in three hours while playing with two other gentlemen. Rate was reasonable. I had a good time. Thx you.

Didn't care for the Greens
Some courses you love playing the first time, some you want to try again.
Honestly, This course didn’t excite me.
My main criteria for judging a course is strictly, how well the ball rolls on the Greens
Nice course friendly staff
Enjoyed the round, greens are soft and pretty fast. Fairways are a bit patchy but all in all a good value for the money.
The greens were slow
You literally needed a hammer to putt.
This is how I judge courses.
Simply if there greens roll true. Unfortunately This course did not thrill me.
The greens were aerated shortly after you played. They are in great shape, come out and see.

Hot Day with No Water
We have played at Mainland many times but this was the first time that we experienced NO water on the course. With the extremely hot weather we would have expected better attention to this amenity.
I am sincerely sorry that this happened. On hot days especially, we have the water jugs checked many times. If this ever happens again please call the golf shop so we can make sure we address it.
Seaview Stay & Play Golf Package
In March our rates are low because the course will not be in tip top shape coming out of the winter. It is great now, come play again.
