Double booked tee time.
Another group was booked for the same tee time as we were so it caused a backup. Bag drop was in an tight/awkward position so you needed to do a k-turn to get back out.
Long day. Stopped after 9. 2 groups waiting to tee off at 10.
Not the fault of the course.
1st day open. People jammed the course.
Considering
The time of the year the course was decently playable....owner overloaded the tee times with the nice weather causing slow play.
Bob the ranger was his usual grumpy self... but it always fun to just plAy in late December.
woudnt hold their price with golf now
so golf now advertised $28, and the guy says, its wrong, $35.. I said ive never had that happen and he says, well we are about to fire them, we can do that as the owners.
Poor way to do business.
Great day for Mid Nov
Course was in very good shape even after rains we had day before. Finished in 3.5 hours even though cart path only
First time playing at the course, well kept for the month of November, friendly staff
This is a fairly decent track...
Course is a little short, but has some interesting holes and lots of blind shots. Layout is pretty good, and conditions were good. Some of the greens were a little beat up, but when can you expect so late in the year. I would go back for sure.
Splotchy Greens
Nice course layout and fairways were in decent shape. Greens were splotchy, like there was some kind of fungus or disease on greens. A majority of the greens had this so unfortunately you couldn’t get a true roll.
Solid course at a good price
The course is always in good shape but be aware that many of the bunkers have substandard sand in them. Definitely rake and place. The greens roll true though usually on the slow side. They have a small driving range to warm up with irons. They have a very good pitching and putting area. The course has several risk/reward par 4 that are drivable with an aggressive line. I usually see a Ranger out every round making sure players keep pace and the usual pace is reasonable 4-4.5hrs.
It’s a fun course for the money. The upfront staff are professional and the grounds crew do a decent job. It’s not Country Club quality but a solid course for a good price
Construction and Pace
They’re doing construction on 7 on a Saturday morning. Bulldozers and trucks all over the place. Slow pace of play. Nearly 5 hrs. Decent course otherwise.
