Needs a ranger
The course is really tight so golf balls are flying everywhere, but the main issue is that there needs to be a ranger to speed up the pace of play. Two groups ahead of us were terrible golfers, which I don’t mind, but they played from the blue tees which on this course makes a pretty big difference. Could have used some help in speeding things up
Sunset
really enjoy this course - great views and challenging holes. the pace of play, however, on this day was as slow as it's ever been. each hole had 2 groups waiting to tee off. first time that has happened here and hope it's the only time.
Greens Torn Up
The course is in good shape except for the greens. Somebody dragged their feet all over the greens and tore them up. Imaginative course design with great views and challenging holes. Sand traps were rock hard and pebbly.
Will be back
This was my first time playing Sunset and I will definitely be back. The course was in very good condition. The fairways were cut just a hair longer which is my preference. The greens were also in very good condition. The course was challenging with some very nice scenic holes.
Nice layout but slow greens
This was a nice layout and was in very good condition. The greens were in good condition but very slow With putting. I think if they mowed them lower they would have better speed but then they might have had more difficulty keeping them as nice as they were. One surprise bonus was seeing Air Force One doing flyover touch and go landings at the Harrisburg airport. Overall it was a very nice day with our traveling golf group.
First time playing here
Interesting holes. Great views on the front 9. Back 9 is challenging. Pace of play was slow. Fairways were nice. Greens were ok, slower speed than I’m used too. Bunkers had very little sand.
virws of countryside are awesome
I booked this “HOT DEAL” on golf now thinking it was a good price. Upon arrival at the coarse I discovered the senior rate would have been a better deal. Our entire foursome would have saved money if we were able to take advantage of the senior rate. I guess I will have to be more aware next time I think about using Golf Now and maybe I can pocket some “COLD CASH”
Overpacked the course
Wanted to play a practice round and had played Sunset before many times. Never before had I seen it so packed in terms of a line to tee off on 1. Was forced to rush out to meet ladies who were not anywhere near my handicap (sexist?). So that made the round even slower at 5 hours. Be a long time until would play Sunset again.
Course in good shape
A beautiful day for golf on a nice course. Nice scenery looking out over the first couple of holes. Course was in good shape and playable. Pace was a little slow as course was crowded.

Sunset Keeps It simple
Lots of Saturday Afternoon golfers, but things moved along just enough to keep it from getting in way if of rhythm. Pro shop window was courteous, prompt and hygienic. Back 9 was wet but greens were firm and true. Enjoyed it.

Great venue
Course is in good shape and offers a variety of holes and shots. Might be best bang for your buck in the area on a weekend.
It's Feb in PA, how bad could it be?!?!
45 degrees, no wind in early Feb!! Course was a little wet; but in good shape for this time of year. Greens were damp, as we expected, and approach shots stuck like darts. A little bumpy; but, hard to roll them during this wet February. Fivesome in front of us, which was frustrating. Bar tender was a good dude and poured a great drink.. Egg sandwich was delicious! Will def be back.
