The Inn At Pocono Manor - East Course
About
The Inn at Pocono Manor offers two championship golf courses, conveniently located less than two hours from New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. Surrounded by the beauty of the Poconos, the inn has earned a spot on the National Registry of Historic Places. George Fazio designed the West Course, and the East Course was Donald Ross' creation. The East Course, the original layout, has hosted a number of legendary players, including Arnold Palmer and Sam Snead, since 1912. Ross carefully sculpted the mountainous landscape to create a course that is both challenging and memorable. It is shorter and tighter than the other course but they are equal in level of difficulty. The golf course is defined by the interesting water hazards that come into play on several holes, but the scenic views are also a draw.

Slooooowwww Afternoon
Course was in decent shape considering the lack of rain the area has had recently. Greens on the front side were asphalt; back 9 held much better. Fairways and tee boxes were fine. Pace of play was the big story today with 5-7 minute wait times between shots on the back. Really spoiled the round.
Course nice good layout but,
Found an interesting course in good shape a little dry but we had little rain. After playing 9 holes started the tenth now 3hours 15 minutes into our round we couldn't play any more the pace was so slow. This was Tuesday. We headed in were passing through golfers on every hole 1,2 or 3 but mostly 4 till we got to 14. Understood why play was so bad. This hole had 10 golfers 20-30 years old almost everyone had a beer half girls having a great time. That's cool wish I was part of the group. Next hole each had 10-15 each all over the hole. About 8 waiting on the 16th tee. 17 and 18 holes empty. It must be an outing but why book other golfers and sentence them to a 6 hour round. Feels like the management just disrespected everyone who played behind this group.
Great shape for May
The fairways were firm and fast. Greens held well. We played in under 4hrs once the foursome in front of us let us play through.
No complaints and will be back more this year
Great mountain course
A lot of elevation changing which makes it fun.
Several blind shots which make it challenging for first time player to score well, but cool course. Would play again
Good Value Round
It was a great Sunday round. My wife seems to like the course a lot due to its great view all around. I think the fairway needs some TLC but it was a great value nevertheless. I enjoyed the round.
Go somewhere else
It had to be the worst course! The only good thing were the golf carts, everything else was a thumbs down! We will never come back!
Second time on course
Layout very nice, hilly as you would expect. Greens , mostly lightening fast. Some pin positions had me looking for the windmill and clown. Overall not bad.
Sunday at Manor
Beautiful course. Not many hazards. Hit em straight , shoot low
First round
Course was in good shape, greens were quick, and tee boxes were ok. Staff always friendly and good value for price,
Great course for the money
I play here 2-3 times a week and it’s awesome. Staff is great and friendly Burt the setup man is awesome Greg Wall in the pro shop is great. All around my favorite course. You won’t be disappointed here. Only downfall is the cart paths are aging. But who really cares. 5 stars ladies and gentlemen keep up the good work manor golf staff.
Pocono Mountain East
Need to repair cart paths, they are in horrible shape not worth $50 . Should be $25-$30. Just trying to be honest.
Old- school course
Wide fairways, small greens. Not many bunkers or water hazards. Course in good condition. Two funky par 3s to blind downhill greens. Great pace of play. Laid back atmosphere, friendly staff. Beautiful fall foliage. Maintenance guys did a great job keeping leaves off fairways. Definitely play again.
