Tanglewood Manor Golf Club

Over a 5hr round, course was backed up. Constantly had group behind us hitting into us. No enforcement of slow groups. Tee boxes were pretty wasted but its late in the year. Overall a nice course with very challenging holes and blind tee shots which made a packed course difficult.

Nice course, good challenge. Fairways and greens are very close to other fairways and tee boxes. You gotta be very aware of other people teeing off on many holes. Cart path only on several holes really slowed play. That and too many long searches for lost balls. Need a ranger out there getting people to maintain pace of play. Our round was well over 5 hours mid-week. So be patient and enjoy the course.

I've played Tanglewood many times over the past several years but this is the first time this year. The course is in the best condition I've ever seen particularly fairways and greens and a huge improcement on #17. Tee boxes still need work. This course is closer to a five star than four star, but I've played many high end courses and my bar is pretty high

I play this course often and love it but this was absolutely the worst experience I ever had there. There were two very slow groups and we called the ranger to speed them up and it did absolutely nothing. We finally skipped a hole and both groups on hole 9 and when we got done there was at least three holes between us. Not sure what they are paying the ranger for. Two groups backing up the whole course is ridiculous.

I have played here many times and am always happy with course conditions and pace of play. My only complaint is the layout of the 17th hole. When the tees are up by the 16th green, which is where the white tees usually are, you're forced to hit a blind shot over the trees, or lay up and leave yourself 200+ yards for your 2nd shot. If you choose to hit over the trees and don't make it over, you have to play from the designated drop area. Unfortunately, the designated drop area is at the 175 yd mark behind a large pine tree that blocks 3/4 of the green. So it's almost a double penalty. Besides that, I love the course and play here multiple times a year.

Hot day but Tanglewood in the best condition I'v seen in years. Tee boxes, fairways and greerns looked and played well. Lots of care evident in maintenance. Pace of play slow, but still under 5 hours. Will play again this year. All staff friendly and made you feel welcome. Extraordinary value

The staff is always polite and flexible. Best bargain in the area and quick pace of play averaging about 4 hrs per 18 w cart, wven w one walking. Playing this course every week as a regular in our rotation.

Course over all was in great condition, but the greens were excellent. Pace of play could have been better if a Marshall had checked. I plan on returning every time I am in the area. Great value too.
