Tanglewood Manor Golf Club

This was my first time playing at Tanglewood Manor, and I really enjoyed my experience. The staff was friendly, they allow you to bring outside alcohol on the course, the course was fairly challenging for a high handicap golfer like me, but still enjoyable to play. The conditions were a little wet in spots (some ponds in sand traps and soaked fairways in spots) since it had rained a lot the day before, but overall, I would highly recommend this course based on the staff and the value for what I payed.

Course conditions were average or worse through no fault of the club but that of Mother Nature. The heat plus over a foot of rain had taken a toll on the lower lying fairways. The greens were fast, the way like them. It was 100 degrees and gratefully the course ranger was giving out bottles of water to keep us hydrated. Will definitely play again.

Played through rather easy. My only complaint was there no food being served. I deferred stopping to get some lunch on the way to getting a quick bite to eat at the clubhouse. There was a sign saying to ask the front desk for food order. Front desk person said to ask the starter. Starter know nothing about it. Played on but very surprised there was no food or beverage service, not even a hot dog!

Always a great experience at this fun and challenging course. The staff is always pleasant and golfers are made to feel appreciated and at home. The snack shop in the alcove at the top of the hill is a steal if you need a quick bite to eat between 9s. The hotdog is not so big that you end up blowing up on the back nine. Simply just a perfect spot for a good day of golf.

Course was in very good shape. Not a long course so a good fit for most golfers. Friendly staff. Best golf course lunch deal in the USA!

This is one of my favorite courses to play. Always in great condition and, as a single, always get paired with good people. Even after a week of rain, there was no issue with super soft ground except for a spot here and there. Friendly staff and a great bang-for-your-buck. Have played here many times and will play here whenever I can!

Staff is always friendly & accommodating. It’s a little bit of a drive but well worth it!

Beautiful course and great staff. Only downside was on the back 9 when we caught up to a threesome that was really slow. On top on holding people up they are fishing golf balls out the creek with zero awareness. Been nice to have somebody from the course to speed them up.
