Pace was good. Greens, A+. Fairways, A. Tees, A. Rough, A-. Sand traps, B+. Friendly staff and very enjoyable course.
Perfect Conditions on Course
Wow, first time playing here. Did not book a tee time, just showned up at 5:45am as I was on my way to Lancaster to watch the LPGA US OPEN. I played solo in under 2 1/2 hours, the course is the best I have played as far as conditions in a long-long time. From the tee box to the greens, loved it all. The sand traps are great too, just need to be raked-out, but that is not an issue as it rained ( fast moving thunder storm) the evening before ( 3/4 inch) and it's the crew's last priority to address the traps. The 3 "par 3's" are all tough and visually enjoyable. The 17th looks scary, but I suprised myself with my best tee shot of the day and made my only birdie. ( Scored 15 over, missing 3 highly makeable 1-putts for par ) Because the weather was perfect ( 65 degrees & light breeze), the course was amazing in my own solitude, I could have score a 100 and would still have been happy with the surrounding and course conditions.
I live a good 90 minute drive from the course with no traffic at 4:15am. As I write this , I am already planning my return round to play ASAP. Staff was great and while the ProShop folks had not communicated with Green's maintenance crew as to what the Cart Rules were for the day at 5:50am ; I made it easy and told them I would do " Cart Path only" , which turned out to be the call of the day as I found out when seeing others playing later that morning. Course drains very well and it could have played 90 Degree Rule if they wished, but why screw up a beautifully landscaped course. Only a few divots on green and fairways, so other players are being respectful and repairing their marks ( Thank you) .

Tanglewood is a great, challenging course!
Tanglewood offers a variety of terrain and challenges. You can walk or drive a cart. A fun course and great facilities! Just wish they had more dining options than hot dogs or chicken salad and seating.
Great Course
Pace of play was slow, but the course is in great shape and staff friendliness is second to none.
Great course for the value.
Tanglewood is always a good time. The greens were punched a few weeks back and are still not grown in yet, but still played nicely. This course will be in wonderful condition by mid May.
Aerated Greens
Love playing Tanglewood. Course is coming around nicely for spring. Greens were recently aerated. Thanks for being open on Easter.
In decent conditions considering its early march.
Always a good time. Staff is friendly, course is challenging but not terrible. By the time late April hits, the course will be in perfect condition.
Great Course Overall
Staff is extremely friendly. Holes are all designed differently. Pace of play was great and the conditions were amazing for the winter.

Good condition for December, booked but why not with a 50 degree December Day. Staff very friendly. Will be back.
