Flying Hills Golf Club

I haven’t played in years, sure I hit a few balls on a driving range but first time out in years and my first course in Pennsylvania. Had a great round! Tight fairways and great approach. Challenging pin positions and the speed of greens changed fast. Great course and will definitely play again. George is a great host and really made me feel welcome!!

This course was very challenging and really enjoyed the layout of this course. The tight fairways and undulating greens really make you think about each shot. Love the reasonable green fees for a weekday but did notice that some tee boxes were in bad shape. That’s understandable with the recent dry weather.

Very ordinary maintenance. Short holes.

Greens were just Ok.

Most annoying part was no directions at all. Had to cross the road 5 times and there were no clear directions. Will not play again.

My first time on this course. Affordable. Difficult. Probably a bit too hilly for me. Narrow fairways. Lots of houses along the way. Not hateful. Just really challenging. Course was in great shape. Cart paths could use some repair

I almost always want to give a positive review, so to be fair to the course, we have had some very wet weather, so mowing has been a challenge......but the rough was too high, with clover, and losing balls just off the fairway was a common occurrence.

The course layout was challenging ,small fairways. The course could be good if they did routine maintanence.It needed to be cut and some trees should be trimmed.The rough was very high.

Course is nothing special and the fairways are essentially like hitting out of the rough. 39 dollars in Berks county quality.

Bring your accuracy playing. Can’t get a dog anda soda on the turn unless you have cash. No card take. A little behind the times but that seems to fit here. It is old school. Enjoyable play though.

Flying Hills is unique, eccentric, mysterious and fun. And a little rough around the edges.

It’s Tight. Don’t recommend for beginners that spray the ball due to houses. But if you are good golfer and or can keep between the trees on the holes. This place is pretty cool. Nice elevated holes that run through Townhouses. If you haven’t played here. Check it out. I liked it. Hole 18 Par 3 over the water was cool finishing hole. My score: 43/42
