Spring Hollow Golf Course

If nothing else, this C-19 pandemic allows me to enjoy time at the course with my 26 yo son who would normally be in Hoboken, NJ. Very hot and humid but great course conditions. Staff was great and pro was even driving around offering encouragement and tips to the golfers. Really? Got our attention and much appreciated. Have played before and will play again.

Played here for the first time. The course was in great shape and my only complaint is that the bunkers were hard and some were filled with water. Regardless it is a beautiful course.

Well, here we go...played with 3 cool 30ish chaps, who each had there own shining moment in their 1st time playing this fun course. They were amazed in the fact that the course conditions were perfect despite 4" of rain on the day before, and the carts were free to go wherever which shows how well this course drains. I was their guide and helped advise on greens and how to play the tough holes which they much appreciated. Unfortunately they had a few too many beers by the back nine and it affected there overall scores as they lost several balls. Anyway, I overheard them say that they would be coming back as they were really impressed with the quality this course offers. One final note, some bunch of stiffs playing on other holes repeatedly sliced balls so far off and DID NOT YELL FORE which led to one of our guys and my cart getting struck. Danger Zone resolved, as the culprits provided some beers as an apology which our foursome gladly accepted.

This is a fantastic place to play golf. Don’t let the yardage on the scorecard fool you. The elevation changes and twists and turns give it some length. I played on the 4th of July weekend and it was very busy but we moved a long ok. Really firm, fast and fair. The best holes are 9 and 18. Just a wonderful place to play public golf. Only negative is there is no driving range.

This is my favorite year round course..It always is in super shape and a joy to play. Unfortunately for me the 3 some I was to be paired with stayed away due to hot weather, so I went out alone. There were just hackers abound. Seriously, people who were hacking giving lessons to hackers worse than them. Many so bad that they did not even play out the holes as they had too many shots, lost balls, etc. There were just 3 groups in front of me, none of which broke 140 if they even kept score. I ended up back tracking 5 holes and playing them again as the group that followed me out were 7 holes behind me...I still caught up to the hacks in front of me by #17. It still took 45 mintes to play the last 2 holes as it was let's take photos time? This was a fluke, as I guess my bad luck. Still managed a 81 despite the hacks and heat.

The course was in good shape, but did have some brown burnt spots on the fairways. Greens were in good shape, some greens were faster than others with some surprising roll after the ball stopped. Would play again if possible this season. Yardage markers need to be larger than an 2 inch stake and clearly marked as red and white stakes usually are for OB or water hazards.. Yardage panted on cart path would help.

Love this course! We played for the first time at the beginning of the Pandemic. We've returned 4 times since and its an hour and a half ride. Great layout. Not long but challenging. $31 makes it best course around for price in quite awhile. Everyone great but kudos to Adam in the shop. All around nice guy with great customer service.

As I have said before, beautiful little course, challenging greens and ya better hit the fairways. Year round this is THE BEST kept coursr in the area. Nice people too.

Thought we were gonna get rained out, but the sun came out. Faster greens took a while to figure out. Fun interesting uphill fairways and greens. Only hole 14 needs less water. Hit perfect drive then couldn’t get it across. Ate out on veranda. Great view of hole 10. Restaurant manager bob came out to see if we were all good. good. Staff friendly. Beautiful wedding area took some photos. Just an awesome day.

Great layout in pristine shape. Played here twice in last week and everything was in great shape! Great staff. Very friendly. Had a ball. Definitely be back and price was fantastic!
