Spring Hollow Golf Course

Cool holes tricky greens. Lots of elevation changes

Played with a buddy and pace was great. Course was in good condition. I like the layout ( open fairways, couple holes with sharp turns) and different hole layouts up steep hills. Good scenery and good times. Would definitely recommend to play

I didnt interact much with the staff, so I gave that a modest 3. But i played in a pair with a friend. Finished 18 holes just short of 3 hours. Course was a little muddy, some bunkers were waterlogged, but greens were great, fairways were well kept except for some low spots. I like the course. It has some shorter holes, some interesting uphill and downhill holes.

Spring Hollow is a nice course. A little pricey for the area, but well maintained and challenging on a fair amount of their holes.

One big complaint...for the second time now playing this course the behind the counter person has quite the attitude, very rude, and is basically a real jerk. This is disappointing as I would like to continue to play this course but having to deal with this guy has myself, and others that I play with, thinking of just going to other courses in the area now ...at least until they get remove him and get a polite professional in there to handle golfers paying good money to play this course.

Hopefully somebody above this guy at this club will read this and make some changes.

greens look like they were aerated a couple weeks ago. unfortunately they played like done same day. rough everywhere ridiculously high... not mowed for days. but the most ridiculous were the bunkers/aka water hazards. almost everyone needed draining.. and raking. love the layout but make the effort at keeping it playable!

Nicer setting and course overall then I expected having not really heard anything about the course. Good value play, just thought it was over due for a mow.

This course is usually crowded and we had heard from other golfers it was kind of a rock pit filled with weekend hackers so we had avoided it for years.

Decided to give it a try recently and we were excited to discover this is not the case as it was a little crowded but the pace of play was quick, golfers on the course were not hackers, and the course itself is well maintained and quite challenging.

A little pricey for area versus other golf courses but worth it.

I guess it comes down to poor management. For the same price as Spring Hollow there are too many other courses in far better shape. It’s confusing why some places ignore the course off the fairways and greens (which also need work) Too much weeds and clover. It’s not enjoyable even just a few yards off the fairway.

Didn’t rate the bar /grill as it seemed to be closed. (Mid afternoon on a Saturday). Again, probably a management issue.

I am just learning the game. I couldn’t believe if I just missed the fairway, how high the grass and clover were. The fairways are well kept, but if you don’t hit it right, be prepared to take a drop. The back nine seemed much better but I won’t be playing this course again.

Played 18 holes. Pace of play was perfect. No one was waiting at all for group in front. Greens were firm abs in good condition.

Liked the course...my only issue was that it could have been mowed more recently than it was. If you missed the fairway today, it wasn’t easy finding your ball amongst the deep rough that was mainly comprised of clover.

I might have caught the course on the backend of their mowing schedule, so I’ll be back to check it out again.

Spring Hollow is very short but very hilly. It holds your interest and you can shoot a good score if you keep the ball in play. The greens were in very good condition and the entire course was above average, playing firm. There are a few holes (e.g. #2) which plays much shorter than the yardage on the card. A fun round overall.

Very nice course with a unique layout. I play it at least once a year!

Very painful because all holes were backed up. Their was a golf outing and most places close the course? Beautiful day but too crowded to enjoy. Also some people are clueless about ready/fast golf.

Nice course with great elevation changes and some very tight alleys off of the tee boxes. Too tight for mid-handicappers
