Great place to wait out the rain Photo submitted by uHXPT3392HX on 07/31/2016
Great shape
The course was in awesome condition. Fun layout with lots of elevation changes. Pace of play was good. Staff extremely helpful. Delightful day.
Nice challenging course
Each hole presents a unique challenge. The course is in good shape. Staff very friendly and attentive.
Like a rock
Is takes more than cutting the grass to maintain a course. From tee box to the greens hard as stone. Anywhere but the rough keep your cllub head off the ground or you will hurt yourself and plan to land 20 yards short to stay on the green . The course looks nice and the layout is set for a good round but after 4 1/2 hrs and still having 4 holes to go we quit. It was a thursday. Played Golden Oaks on previous FRIDAY IN 3HR 45 MIN and took our time!
Bunkers?
Great course in great condition - except for the bunkers which were all filled with dirt and then raked just to make you really frustrated.
Good bang for buck
Great course relative to price. Will be playing again
Great Enjoyment
I really enjoyed playing here. The course had a unique layout, is not very long or difficult, and was very well maintained. Definitely looking forward to playing again in the near future.
Good value
This course seems to always be in good condition. The greens have plenty of grass and roll nicely. The routing is enough to keep you engaged and there’s lots of nice hills to keep the lies interesting. This may become my go to course when I dont feel like ponying up the money to play some of the higher end tracks in the area. Definitely recommend this place.
you'll like the course as you drive in.
the course is in great shape greens round great it has some very challenging holes play it once and you will go back.
Greens are some of the best I have played
Course is in great shape and greens are fast alot of unique challenging holes. A good day of golf
Great course.
Great course. Played from the blues made it a little more average in length. Course made you think of alot of distance shots and turning the ball
Hilly, well maintained, fun course
Spring Hollow was an extremely fun course to play. I personally enjoyed the layout and found each hole to present its own unique challenge. It is not very long but there's alot of hills and I would not recommend walking for that reason. The greens were firm, but not incredibly fast and some pin positions made longer puts a challenge to read. The majority of the greens had some degree of undulation. My only gripe would be the pace of play. We had to wait on the tee box and again for approach shots on almost every hole on the back nine. The delays were significant and consequently extended our round time a minimum 30 minutes to an hour.
Tee it up!
Very pleasant staff course is in good shape a few of the bunkers need alittle attention...but other then that I drive 66 miles round trip just to play the course...I do have other options, but for the price and course conditions its worth the drive.
Greens are getting good
Greens are coming in as well as fairways
No amenities but that is virus and not the course
Monday Gift
50+ degrees in March, Course fairways and greens remain well cared for. Worthy of playing again.
Great!
Great round for the dead of winter.Course was in great shape. Staff was great. Can't wait to see what this course looks like with some green on it. Great experience! Go play it! Don't let the low slope fool you, a great course from the tips. I'll be back!
Worth the visit
For February the greens were fast and impressive. Lots of elevation changes and cool hole design
Postcard entrance, challenging greens
Very beautiful course, hilly, lots of doglegs forcing perfect shot selection, greens are very fast and sloped hard.
