Hard to beat
I have played this course many times, and beleive it is one of the toughest coursesvaround..Greens nice but deceivingly quick, and very tricky. You will NOT figure them out no matter how many times you play. Fairways are decent as are the tees. One issues is the safety on #2 with the cartpath after you hit your 2nd shot..Very nasty incline that is slippery/dangerous, so you have to drive the cart around local road to halfway down #3 when it is wet as YOU CAN NOT NEGOTIATE THIS CARTPATH unless it is dry, and that is hard too. Anyway, if you are a seasoned golfer and want a challenge, THIS IS THE COURSE FOR YOU! Hacks stay away as you may lose all you balls by hole 6.
Great layout
Unfortunately, some conditions need to be addressed Several tees were in very bad shape Cart path on two continues to be literally dangerous. For such a classic course there should be more attention to detail

Cart path & bag drop
First 9 cart paths need improvement.
There are no bag drop are directly from driveway.

Tees need work
The condition of the tee boxes are very bad, par 3s are un level and mostly dirt
Excellent greens
Course was closed however they let me play prior to a tournament.

great course conditions. difficult old school golf course. super fast greens. the cart paths are in horrible shape. overall experience is worth a play as a beautiful layout.

Finally got out and tried my new ping 425 max
Got out right away. Only a few singles playing. Still soggy from IDA remnants but ground crew working hard to get course back in condition.
Fairways in good condition. Tees need work.
All things considered especially the price a good value.
Not a lot of water or traps but the greens are this course’s defense. Ball ovens run off if speed is not carefully applied while putting and on approach shoots.

Very challenging the first time you play once you know the course it’s very interesting
Needs work
Fairways dry and bare at places while other areas were soaking wet. Green closed on 12. Rough is high making locating your ball difficult to impossible.
Poor greens
Terrible greens the worst I have ever seen there.
The rest of the course was good.
Course is challenging for me as an average senior aged golfer. But I enjoy the variety of the hole layouts.

My partner and I played from the yellow/senior tees which made the course ridiculously short. Greens were difficult with substantial grain effect. Putted off the green more than once. Too many three-putts! Tees were ok, some very bad though-all dirt.
Nice fresh grilled burger and a beer served outdoors by pleasant people.
