Back 9 Closed
I was surprised and very disappointed that the back 9 was closed due to some maintenance. I wish I knew this so I wouldn't have to drive almost 2 hours to play the front 9 holes twice? The course itself was very good but the closure, without warning, of the back 9 holes was very disappointing.
Always a good round
Played with Mark from Maryland. I live 2 miles from Honey Run. We had a pleasant round although a little slow because of one slow foursome.
Traps were fine, better than most, and fairways and greens were in good shape.

Great Course
I played this course years back, but I don't remember it being in such great condition as it is now.

Everything about Honey Run is fantastic !! The course. The layout. The condition of the course is always A1 ! The staff is friendly and helpful
League failure
We played on a day there was a league. We teed off on #10 at 3:51 and we're told we needed to be off the back 9 by 5pm. That wasn't realistic. We didn't finish 16 before someone came around and told us it was time to “get off” the course. We went to number 1 and had to wait for 3 foursomes to tee off. Then we had to wait to hit every shot.
Always good
Honey Run is always one of my faves; they are rebuilding a few traps which is always a plus. No =thing worth mentioning that would detract form the course.
Great condition friendly place
The course in great condition, green smooth and running true, fairway largely in great shape, some tee boxes need more help, a few bunkers have standing water. Very friendly staff and members, simple and clean facility. Layout not the most interesting.and greens are a bit too simple. Overall a good value.
