Foster Country Club

The course was in good condition. The layout is fun, and some holes can be quite challenging. There are a number of holes that “boomerang”, which require either a bomb of a drive over tall trees, or a safe shot down the middle, which will likely result in nothing better than a par putt.

For the money, Foster is a fun course. Abbey, the cart girl, is spot on.

Clubhouse has great food as well.

The course was in very good shape from tee box to green. The greens were very fast, but putted true. Be prepared, after #11 the game changes as it's doglegs and tight for #12 thru #15. They can ruin a round quickly. Took my round and humbled me! But, that's one of the reasons Foster C.C. is so much fun to play. Also, everyone here makes you feel welcome! The food is excellent!

First time playing here today. I rated as extremely challenging only because there are plenty of blind shots on this course. However, I can't wait to play it again knowing how the course is laid out. Greens are lush green and fast. Only complaint is the back to back par 3's to finish... Got out at 6:08 am and 3 of us were done at 10

Foster is in a rural part of Rhode Island surrounded by woods and nature. Upon arrival, check-in went smoothly and I was matched up with 3 other golfers . We teed off within 10 minutes of our scheduled time and proceeded to play the round on well manicured fairways and greens. After the round I went into the clubhouse where many types of cold beer were available along with a lengthy menu, from which I ordered a delicious Rueben and fries. All in all, a fantastic day!

Fun course in the woods. What a great staff. Front nine is basically open and the back nine winds through the forest. I highly recommend.

Played on a Saturday afternoon typical pace of play for the weekend not the problem. Greenskeeper with absolutely no golf etiquette . My group was already putting on the green and he dragged a hose across the green and began watering the green while we were putting. Next hole ran the mower up to the tee box and away while we waited to tee off. This behavior continued the entire round ! Played many Golf courses never seen this ever before .

Very Nice course, seems to be well maintained. The front 9 is just like any other course. The back 9 presents some tricky shots.

I also got the feeling that the last 2 holes where kind of just shoved into the land to make the 18 holes required in return made the 14th hole a 415 yards from the back tees into a par 5. If I had to guess the course started at a 9 hole course and they forced the back 9 into whatever space they had. Over a good course and will probably play again.

Golf course makes you think, greens rolling good. Can get wet in some spots but overall very good course

Great course. Beautiful layout. Beautiful countryside. One of my top favorite courses.
