Foster Country Club

Yes, there are better courses to play but for the cost the value is next to none. Front nine is better than the back where it seems that a few golf holes were “fit in” to the land that was there.

Overall for the everyday average golfer it’s a fun place to play and a friendly staff.

First time in Rhode Island. Got a couple of rounds in and this was my favorite stop. Beautiful course. Great condition. It was a fun course to play.

Taking into consideration all the rain Rhode Island has had in April, Foster was a great course to play and conditions were acceptable

Drove from an hour away only to be told the course is closed when I walked into the pro shop. I have booked through golf now several times and have had cancellations a handful of times but I was always notified way before I even left my house. “We just found out” was their answer when I asked about why they do not cancel for the customers. The timing could not have been less fortunate for me I guess. Needless to say, that will be my last trip to Foster Country Club

Course was in fair condition considering all the rain.

I understand that they're trying to preserve the course for peak season but every single hole was cut 2 paces from the front edge and the same from the left or right side of the green. Unrealistic play into the greens. Not cool. Not fun. At least put some of the pins in the back to give a chance for birdies. Not an enjoyable time. 2.5 out of 10 only because I got paired with a really nice gentleman who helped make the round at all fun.

Great challenge course! Not your typical driver wedge on every hole. Lets you choose between irons and fairway woods. I’ll be back in the summer when it’s warmer and hopefully not so windy!

I don't know what it was, It seemed like always waiting to strike the ball. We eventually by-passed some players for slow play, to move along fine on 3 holes only to meet up with more slow players. No one in front of them also. We made it thru the front nine to clubhouse only to find clubhouse closed to players. Wedding going on.

This place is great! Even though I had a different teatime for my two buddies they let us go off together. The course is in great shape, the greens are near perfect . It’s a very challenging course, which I like and the pace of play was great, and we had three foursomes in front of us ! I will be back!

Greens and tee boxes always in good Condition. Fairway and ruff always seems dry once June rolls around but I like that. More distance off the tee. Can't beat the price for 18 holes. $23.49 with cart fire deal, or walk for 22$ after 12pm. Would recommend to a friend,would play again in a jiffy. Staff friendly. Great food in their restaurant. I drive 30 mins to play here. No complaints. 0-5 handicap. I play 3 times a week if I can.. oh ya, the back 9 is all about placement of the golf ball. Front is open for spraying tee shots.

Waited on every hole,tee times every 8 minutes, felt like I was in an overbooked tournament

Course is starting to signs of the dry conditions. Greens were in good shape.

Biggest negative was the pace of play! Very slow and found out a group of Five guys were slowing the entire course ! No ranger! No concern! Will have to think hard about playing there again!!!!!
