Great layout and maintained very well. Staff is great.

We booked 2 hours beforehand, and the staff was great. Teed off on time and no pressure from the people behind us.

Why have a ranger, if they're not going to enforce pace of play? 5:05 for 18 holes is embarrassing, for anything other than a scramble.

On arrival the staff was exceptionally friendly. Getting a cart was easy. Course was well mowed and the greens were challenging..The pace of play was brutal. Three older men were oblivious that they had an entire course backed up. On the Fenner Hill web page it states ONE OF RHODE ISLAND’S MOST INVITING SEMI-PRIVATE GOLF FACILITIES, having two groups waiting at every hole is not inviting.

The price was good for 18 holes with a cart. Everything was as expected, the fairways, greens, and tee boxes were all cut nicely. The course is a little narrow at times but not too bad. We teed off at 2 and finished at 7 as there was a group of 3 in front of the people in front of us holding things up. Overall a grreT course and will be back earlier in the morning.

The layout is great. Conditions of the tee boxes and fairways great. Some of the greens could use attention. We experienced and issue making the turn. There were about 18 players ready to tee off on #10. The proshop let them off knowing there would be players makingthe turn. Was frustrating. .

The layout and course conditions were very good. Fairways and tee boxes excellent conditin. A few of the greens were fuzzy and slow, most were good. We had one issue and making the turn there were about 18 players teeing off on #10. This caused a problem with pace of play. Not sure why the proshop had the afternoon groups teeing off on #10, knowing groups will be making the turn. It was frustrating.

The course layout and conditions are very good and the staff and restaurant are also very good. HOWEVER, the greens are almost unplayable. They are lightning fast and there is not a flat area on any green on the entire course. Even a very good golfer would find it very difficult to 2 putt if they are outside of 10 ft. I watched members of my group hit putts from 3 to 4 feet away end up 10 to even 20 feet away on the come back putt.

Everything was excellent from check in to course play.

What a fantastic experience we had as a 3-some playing on a cold and wind Sunday morning at 8:56AM in June. Tee times were backed up by about 15 minutes, and we did experience some congestion, but it's rare to see a proactive Ranger and that's exactly what we had here, someone immediately out there to help move groups along. Prior to the round, you can hit for free at their range (netted, not full), and they have chipping/putting areas with bunkers. The course itself is wide open with quite a few elevated tee shots and greens, and some blind shots as well. The bunkers have sand and the greens are firm, fast and undulating, which makes for a fun test.

Not much more you could ask for from a public course, excited to play here again.
