Great day
Everything was great today, course conditions were excellent, pace of play was great. Nothing to complain about
One of my very favorite courses
I am a solo player, so I go all over the South Coast. Green Valley Country Club is my second favorite course within an hour's drive of my home town of Fall River. My home course is Acushnet River Valley.
As a solo player, you have a different set of needs than if you were golfing with some buddies. For me, I don't like playing by myself; I just can't keep my rhythm. The pros who I interact with are just so gracious and helpful. The starters are professional and are there for you. The people are very welcoming. Green Valley has a great sense of place that is hard to put into words, but if you are a roving golfer like I am, you know what I mean.
This course has everything you could want. Short par 4's that challenge your thinking, and superb yardage differences for the par 3s. For my money, the 605 yard 10th hole, ( I play from the white tees), a downhill par 5 monster, is the signature hole. I was thrilled to be putting for birdie this time around. The hole was downwind. You need three solid shots to get to the green. I am 66 years old. I went Driver, 3W and 8 iron.
Before the round, I used the practice range, chipping area and putting green. I can't speak to amenities, as I did not buy anything, but I saw friendly cart service.
I can't wait to go back.
Beautiful walk in the park
As a Southern Californian visitor to RI it was a such a great experience to play this lush, tree lined course. It’s got a peaceful, scenic vibe. Friendly staff too. Highly recommend!

COURSE WAS SURPRISINGLY QUIET. MOVED RIGHT ALONG. FAIRWAYS & GREENS IN PERFECT CONDITION.GREAT COURSE TO PLAY.
Great layout!!
Played this course about 10 years ago and I think its gotten even better. Greens were smooth and fast,fairways were green and cut very nice.There are some long holes but the fairways are pretty wide. Had a great time and will be back to play again very soon
Nice round
Course is in really nice shape and the greens are rolling fast and true. Staff was friendly even with the chaos of the virus. The driving range is open and the restaurant is making food and you can eat it out on the patio with a post round drink if you want! As expected, no rakes in the bunkers and they have an insert on the flag stick so the ball wont go all the way in, but it worked really well. Very good overall first experience here and I’ll certainly be back.

Fairways are plush, lots of roll, rough tolerable, greens pristeen and fast.
