Green Valley Country Club

To many golfers in a rush. But was averall a good day

Food in the clubhouse was excellent!!!

We enjoy this course. It’s long but the fairways are wide open for those who spray the ball a bit. The greens are large but putt pretty true although we found the pin position challenging on a few holes. Conditions are good for the most part and the rough not too punishing. It’s a good round for tje price especially after 2:00.

Nice course but play was very slow. Had to wait on almost every tee. No rangers around !!!

Decent layout and course was in good shape, but the pace of play was horrendous. Tee times were 5 minutes apart, so I blame the course more than slow golfers.

I have a group of golfers that play a different course each week. Getting advance T times was no problem and the staff willing to work with me to include a few last minute golfers. As always the course was in excellent shape throughout the entire course.. The service and food at the 19th hole was just what one would expect at an establishment that is beyond par in the entire experience. We shall return again next year for certain- if not before.

Green Valley is a great moderately hard course. Fun to play and in great condition!!

Always a pleasure to travel south and play GVCC. Course was in fantastic shape. Greens were spotless and run off areas were mowed tight and in great shape. Bunkers could use more sand but definitely playable. Bring your driver and long irons as this course plays long. Highly recommend!!

Got a great last minute deal and found the experience very enjoyable. I played from the white rather than the senior tees and was glad I did because the roll out on tee and fairway shots made up for the extra distance. Grrens were in good shape albeit a little slow. Traps could use more sand.

First tine in Rhode Island. Found this on golf now. Very happy with the course. Thought it played a little long and always had to chip short over sand but still loved the course. Highly recommend.

The greens are in great condition. The course setting is lovely - very rural.

Only let down by the pace of play. They NEED to get a ranger out there, “Ready golf,” anyone? 5+ hour round. If you can’t break 100, let alone 90, pick up the darned ball? Hit when ready, this is NOT PGA golf.

Otherwise 125 slope from whites ,.. part of the reason the pace of play was so slow.

Green Valley CC is a beautiful course with a friendly, supportive staff. The course is well maintained by its superintendent and crew. The pros are great and give productive lessons. The restaurant has great food and the staff.is wonderful. I highly recommend this course ro any golfer!

I was in a league at Green Valley for more than 16 years. So I know the course quite well. It hasn't changed much at all in all this time. But that's a very good thing. It's always been in top condition of courses in the area. The sixth green still doesn't hold. But that's a very small and insignificant criticism of the course. The clubhouse is a great facility. The restaurant food is wonderful and reasonably priced. All of the staff at Green Valley are just really good people.
