Golf Now doesn’t take into account what’s scheduled at the course on a given day. Had I known there was an event scheduled I would never had booked the round .

After 5 hours I abandoned play. A total waste of $112

Beautiful layout which is challenging to all levels but friendly to women and young golfers as well. There are additional play it forward green tees for youth and older players

Green Valley Country Club has always been one of my favorites. Today’s round was right on point. We had to wait until after a shotgun tournament. Which gave us time to enjoy a cold beer in the clubhouse where we had great pleasant service. Guys in pro shop super friendly and helpful. Buster the starter sent us out right on time on #10. We found the course in great shape with a few dry spots due to dry summer conditions. Greens are fast and firm. Course is long Bring your driver. I highly recommend Green Valley!! Considering the amount of play at this course this course is in fantastic shape and the staff is the best

I played this course on a very hot day. The course was in excellent shape for this time of year. I found the greens very receptive to my game which is to run the ball up to the greens. I also thought the course played a lot shorter than what the yardage said on the score card.There were not a lot of trees on this course and most of the fairways had generous landing areas.

Played this course several times and it’s always been in good shape. Personal have always been friendly. All around a must play.

National grid doing work on poles around 3 holes,course decreased length of those holes,pace gets slow in that area

I played Green Valley every Monday for 25 years in a defense industry league which moved to Newport National for 2 years and then folded 2 years ago. Nothing has changed. Gary is still in the pro-shop doing a great job interfacing with the public. Buster is still the starter keeping everything going. The course is still exactly the same: great conditions all around - greens are still perfect. The fairways and rough are as good as any courses around. The traps? Well, no course is perfect. Very hard even in today's dry conditions and they play like they need more sand. But adding sand apparently isn't going to fix what is wrong. They need to be rebuilt. And the 6th green still doesn't hold even the most pinched wedge. But all in all, it was a great day on the links playing with three great guys that I met today. Since they brought in new kitchen help a few years ago, the food has been terrific. And there are always great and friendly conversations going on around the bar.

Long course but if you hit it straight and long you can conquer it!

Very good course with a challenging layout, good diversity amongst the holes. Can play a little slow but we got around as a foursome on a Sunday afternoon at 2 PM in 4 hours. Very low maintenance, easy to get along place.

I was a private club "snob" and rarely played public or semi private courses

This place was (to me) another well kept secret among the area golfers...It has qa 600+ yard Par 5...It has huge greens on many holes (think 3putt territory)

Memorable Par 3's ranging from 138 yards to over 200 yards (twice!)

OIt has a spacious practice area as well

GVCC is in very good shape. I played on a Monday morning and played 18 in 3.5 hours.

I came alone and caught up with a very nice couple who invited me to join them. The course is challenging without being overwhelming .

We had a great outing .

It’s nice. Greens are good. Not too fast but they roll. Pace was slow. I’ll play here once every few years.
