Winnapaug Country Club

Very nice course by the shore. Fairways were well maintained. Greens were recently sanded so not as nice as they probably were beforehand. Staff was very friendly and the pace of play was good. Would definitely recommend.

Played a few times while visiting the area, prior to visiting the reviews had me worried but very glad i played. Best green's i have seen / played in a long time - very pure roll and well taken care of. Challenging placement golf, will test your iron accuracy. Played before 7:30am both time and was done in <3.5 hrs walking with groups in front of me.

Greate track. Fairways are narrow but in great condition. Greens are well protected and tricky - lots of slope. Many of the holes are very scenic. Staff was friendly. They have electric motorcycle carts to ride if you are interested. Would golf there again.

course was in great shape greens were fast need to pair up twosomes play would be alot faster.

The gentleman in the golf clubhouse was very nice. He was informative and professional knowing it was our first time playing the course. The price was a little higher than it should have been considering the conditions.

The course is not visually pleasing like some courses I have played. It was a little beat up in the fairways and lacked proper signage for holes, 100, 150 and 200 distances. With that said, the greens were in excellent shape. Not firm, but plush and very few blemishes. Very hilly course with undulated greens. Some holes had fescue obstacles and deep bunkers. They were running a lunch special for $10, which was basically a free drink (alcohol included). Food was good, not great and the service was excellent. I would play here again.

Winnapaug was in great shape! They now have single golf carts, it's a bike! Played like crap but had a great time. There was a small tournament, but the staff kept everyone moving!

Played this course with 3 friends. I had been a member here for quite a few years. Many of my fellow members became unhappy with condition of the course and the promises that were not kept to improve it. Now I see a positive change. The greens were excellent all putting the same. The improvements they made to the golf course are starting to take shape. The fairways now have plush grass that welcome you to take a digit. I can only hope that the improvements will continue.

Course was great, Chalenging and different holes.Cart Boy Niko is great. Your check in personal, I think who is also the course pro, however has some personality issues. Not easy to talk to . Have had no problems with Phil but this guy today was anything but friendly. Love the course. Your grounds superintendent has done a great job with the greens and fairways over the last two years. Huge improvement. We finally have grass to hit out of on all fairways.

I enjoy this course but while it is not the best around, they invested in golf cart motorcycles and they are the greatest advancement in golf fun since the start of the cart girl.

Golf motorcycles are fast, nimble, easy to drive and so much fun.

Continues to improve each time I play. Greens have filled in and are fast and true
