Watch out for the gator(s)
I let them know at check in that it was my first time at the course. They should have advised me of gators which I did not expect in Camden, SC, about 100 miles inland. When I got to the 13th tee box, I was met by a 7 ft gator sunning himself on the tee box.
The course has a lot of water on one or both sides of the fairways (ditches, lakes, etc.) which the ball will run into if you don't hit the correct shot. Greens are not in good shape; some putts zigzagged to the hole.

Best value golf course around
Loved playing here! And you definitely can’t beat the prices. The only public course that makes everyone feel like a member.
Greens were tough but roll true. I’m new to the area but definitely found my new favorite place to play. Homemade Chilli cheese dog at the turn is a must.
