What Are They Doing?
Have played here multiple times over the last 30 years. This was the worst maintenance conditions I’ve seen. Yes, as other reviewers said, they have plenty of grass, they’re just not cutting it. The fairways were a bit high, the rough was fair, but the greens were so hairy that they weren’t even puttable. They’re Bermuda, it’s summer, they have a sprinkler system. It’s not like they’re going to burn up. Just cut them at the height that they were designed for. This is a real shame for good golfers to have to play in these conditions, you can’t score on a good shot, you can’t chip well because you can’t hit it hard enough & when you do it takes a huge bounce. Very disappointed.
Course is in great shape!
With recent rains the course is in the best shape that I have seen.
Good Round of golf!
Pretty good outing..course is in pretty good condition! I
Need some help
Course is always fun to play and the greens are great. The fairway was horrible. You couldn’t tell the Fairway from the rough.
Just old feeling
Everything about this course feels old. Cart moved like a snail. Grass is like a weed field. Long grass, just feels unkempt.
Great course for the cost!!!
Quail Ridge is making a comeback after struggling for the past 1yr.
I haven’t play here in several years. Its in decent shape. The fairway a firm and fast, but a little thin in places. Greens are good, but speed was a little inconsistent. Overall a fun place to play and the hot deal price was well worth it.
