Too many 5-somes
Come on, guys. Great course, but you gotta limit these ridiculous groups of five and improve the pace of play. It’s a nice course, but not a 5 hour nice course.
Greystone
Beautiful land and course layout. Overall the course is in decent condition. The greens are pretty rough though, as there were a lot of unfixed pitch marks.
Always a great round
As usual, the course was in great shape. The staff is always friendly. I’ve probably played here a dozen times here. The greens are a little bit softer than usual. But always a great bang for your buck.
Greens need work
Greens were in bad shape. The rest of the course was in good shape but greens were soft like sponges with ball marks everywhere.
Hi! Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. Please know the current conditions are by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We will continue to work towards a 5-star experience and we hope to see you back!
Overbooked tee times
Staff overbooked the course. Golfers sitting on green, middle of fairway, and tee box. Took a total of 3 hours and 11 minutes to finish 9 holes, and then 37 minute wait on the tee box of ten. Wasn’t able to finish playing had to stop on hole 15, was on the course a total of 6 hours and 49 minutes. Staff was rude to multiple groups in front and behind us, and wouldn’t be understanding/provide options to those who had other commitments later that late afternoon/evening.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us}. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting GreyStone Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Pace of play
Payed for 18 holes and only got 9 in cause of the pace of play would like a refund or a credit for 9 holes
Good course
Course was in good shape. Greens were a little beat up, but still fun to play. The weather was hot and there was no water available on the course. There were water coolers on the course, but they were empty.
Excellent value for the price!
Best Experience
This place cannot be beat. It’s beautiful, it’s in great shape, and the customer service is off the charts good. If it weren’t so far from the city I’d play here daily. I will say that with the weather we have had the greens are… JUST slightly behind what I’ve seen there in their peak. We are talking 8.5 instead of 9.5 though and it wouldn’t cause me a moment of hesitation in going back.
Weekly Play
W extend to play this course at least one day per week with some off weeks. Whether playing 9 holes or 18 holes, the challenge is there. We love the elevation changes and the overall views on the course.
Greens are pulverized
Greystone is such a nice course but it’s a shame that the greens are always in such bad shape. This course doesn’t do well with wetness in general. But the greens are ALWAYS sooo soft like they just had a monsoon. Given the amount of play the course gets the greens get absolutely chewed. Yesterday was no different. I swear people drag their clubs all over the greens leaving gashes along with the footprints and ballmarks so deep that you can’t get the grass of the green back into them. It’s just unputtable for most of the day. If only they could find a way to firm the greens up so people’s feet and approach shots weren’t so damaging, the course would be stunning. I can’t say I would recommend playing it right now. Not unless it’s a crazy cheap hot deal.

Bad Greens
The tee boxes and fairways are in great condition. The greens are horrible because nobody ever seems to fix the ball marks on the greens. It is like putting on the surface of the moon. I repaired over 200 myself during my round. If the staff would emphasize the importance of repairing ball marks on the greens and place courtesy signs up, the course would be a top notch course in the area.
Very nice course
Will definitely come back as my comments below won’t keep us from playing here again. Played on a Sunday afternoon. Lot of weekend players chasing balls all over the course so made for a very slow round. Would be great if had a starter to help stay organized. Also multiple signs say to order food for the turn via text at the 8th hole. That is fantastic EXCEPT the girl inside said they stopped checking their phone at 5 pm. I texted at 4:54. Good idea on the food but poor execution.
Greystone is a beautiful course with many interesting holes. Challenging course but not unfair or super hard. Lot of straightaway shots but very hilly. Lot of blind shots so knowing the course is helpful to stay out of trouble. Course overall in good condition. Grounds crew having tough time with july heat. Greens had been watered too much and were spongy and slow. Sand traps were in bad shape with most golfers not raking them.
Golfers had done a horrible job repairing their ball marks on the greens. Made for tough putting. That’s a customer issue, not the course issue.
Overall a fun experience and we will be back even though it was almost a 5 hour round of golf.
No water and pace of play stinks
Love the course and will be back but hope they can do something about the pace. Classic 5 hour round for no reason. Also it was 100 degrees and they had no water jugs. They had some coolers with warm mini bottles but most of them were empty by the time we got to them. Pretty dangerous to not have water out in the course on such a hot day
