Hidden Gems

Very beautiful and challenge layout. Several holes have the blind shots. Green is pretty fast though it was out of season. Good upkeeping and very friendly staff. Well worth the money and strongly recommended.

Great course, just wish it was closer to my house.

Our TTSGA usually schedules Greystone a couple times a year. Love the course, but about an hour from my house. One of the guys in my smaller group, lives in Dickson so we try to get over there a couple times, since he drives a lot to play the other courses we play.

I highly recommend this course.

$120 round of golf

I booked a tee time on golfnow last week for Saturday November 21 for 4 players. One player could not show up due to his wife finding out she was exposed to someone with COVID the night before. I politely asked if a rain check could be issued to me, but the response I received was “Sounds like you need to get your buddy to pay you back”. $120 round of golf to finish playing in the dark due to the group of 8 players playing together in a group for the entire back 9. You would think the host of the Tennessee State Open would have better policies in place, but I guess not.

Slow

Booked a tee time online. Showed up on time and the pace of play was slow. There were 2 5 some in front of us. Would let us play through and backed everyone up behind us. Called the club house they told us those were members.

I havent played Greystone in. a couple years, because its 35 miles from where I live. I love the course and is in good shape. I played twice in a week there, and both times behind a five some. I will not be playing there again. Old guys , probably regulars, but just not fast, no ready golf and beyond frustrating. I shouldn't make a difference really, but you cant train old dogs new tricks. They dont know who to play faster. Standing and not being ready at your ball, when all five had their own carts.... awful ..... I played at 9;57 on Tuesday. the 5 was holding up the 3 some behind them and us behind the 3...

Greens need help

Some of the worst greens I have played this year. Fairways and tee boxes are in good shape. Greens are peppered with ball marks and people are not fixing them.
