Worth a Visit
Good - Friendly staff, equipped pro shop, variety in green size/shape, piece of land
Bad - Forced stone outcroppings & condition of greens
Ugly - pace of play
Overall, a good experience. The course clearly has a regular flow of entitled and lazy players. Entitled because no one lets anyone play thru. A round should not take nearly 5 hours. With a pre-noon tee time on a Wednesday in October. Hire some marshals. Lazy because you could fix a dozen pitch marks on each green.
Happy to of visited, but I won’t be returning
Fun track
Tee’d off at 8:35. I got paired up with 3 others( nice guys) course was in good almost great shape. Greens were nearly impossible to hold but can’t blame anyone for that. Def tons of ball marks on greens I think that comes with the territory with type of grass and being public. Rolled true and fast. Was worried about pace of play after reading some reviews. Our 4some finished in 3:45 min which was GREAT. Did not have to wait on a single shot and group behind us did not wait once ether.
Def recommend playing here and I will be back.
Solid layout and decent condition. Slow play.
Great layout and pretty good conditions other than a few greens. My only real gripe is that the pace of play was insanely bad. Paid for 18 holes only played 9 because we were at a 5:30 pace! Not once was there a starter to hurry up play. I’d love to play again but I don’t 7 hours to travel and play golf in one day. Hopefully they can fix things by offering more spread out tee times or something.
Slow slow slow
I’ve been here nearly 10 times and have never played under 5hrs

We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us, lcyutiamco. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting GreyStone Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Love this course. Always a good time and meet good people. Staff is awesome
Great course
I met the owner Bob before I t started. Super nice guy. Down to earth. Course was in great shape. It’s one of my favorite courses.
Grumpy Greens
The greens were a mess. Nobody repairing ball marks left the greens in pretty bad shape
Great Course
Absolutely pristine golf course. Excellent fairways with fluffy lies if you manage to stay on them. Very reasonable pricing, worth every penny. I would want this as my home course 100%.
HookegrFranklin
Longtime player of this course. Since the begginning.
Staff is friendly but could use more staff on Weekends. Maybe offer some food specials at the turn. Easy stuff, hot dog and beer for 9 bucks, Turkey Sandwich, chips and soda for 10 bucks.
I would also like to see a marshall on the course to monitor pace of play. Whole holes yesterday in front of our group. Playing through doesn't work but a marshall asking groups to keep up will get more players on the course and push revenue.
Great course but unacceptable pace
Sunday 12:03 tee time. Playing behind a 5-some. Waited on every single shot without exception. Total round: 5:15. Didn't see a Marshall. We were told on number 1 that pace would be slow: so apparently this was known by mgt in advance.
The place is nice, but it's not Pebble Beach...which takes 5 hours but youre taking pics on half the holes.
There is no way to justify a 5:15 round on a 90-degree rule day. Post covid, courses are crazy popular, but slow play is gonna kill the golf craze like it was before covid.
There is no possible excuse. I cannot recommend this course.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize for the slow pace of play during your round and any frustration it may have caused. We appreciate your feedback and will work to improve our management of pace on the course.
My favorite course in the Nashville area
I love this course. It has a very unique layout with elevation changes and is scenic with hills and rocks everywhere. A must play for me when I’m in the area.
We apologize for the slow pace of play you experienced during your visit to our golf course. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration to improve our operations, such as offering more spread out tee times. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
