Great course but unacceptable pace
Sunday 12:03 tee time. Playing behind a 5-some. Waited on every single shot without exception. Total round: 5:15. Didn't see a Marshall. We were told on number 1 that pace would be slow: so apparently this was known by mgt in advance.
The place is nice, but it's not Pebble Beach...which takes 5 hours but youre taking pics on half the holes.
There is no way to justify a 5:15 round on a 90-degree rule day. Post covid, courses are crazy popular, but slow play is gonna kill the golf craze like it was before covid.
There is no possible excuse. I cannot recommend this course.
My favorite course in the Nashville area
I love this course. It has a very unique layout with elevation changes and is scenic with hills and rocks everywhere. A must play for me when I’m in the area.
Bad greens
The greens were horrible. This is mainly due to the fact that the people who play the course do not fix their ball marks. Just put some dang signs up that remind the players that fixing ball marks helps make the course better and more enjoyable. IMO, the course should put more money into green maintenance because that is the weakness of the course. It always has been. The lovely zoysia fairways don't require much maintenance or water. Please make the greens better.
The course also needs to invest in a bell or some device that tells the group on the #1 tee that it is clear to hit. So simple and desperately needed.

The course was in great shape as always. I’ve been coming here to play for a very long time. My issue was how expensive golf has become and it seems you get less and less for that increase. The staff was average at best personality wise. It was a hot day and there was no water in any of the coolers on the course. There was however 4 empty ice chests which was a tad of an insult. We saw the beverage cart one time in a 5+ hour round of golf, which also was an issue. The pace of play was horrendously slow.

Great course, even better considering price!
This was a great course to play but the fact we got in at a “hot deal” rate or just $54 per person which included range balls was unbelievable. Will be coming back!
Greens struggling
Greens were soft, damp and struggling against the heat and humidity! Course plays well, tee box grasses had not been cut in awhile.
Awesome course
Excellent course! Love the Zoysia fairways they were immaculate the greens were also in excellent shape and have some nice subtle breaks. The young man in the pro shop was excellent, extremely helpful. If I were a mystery shopper I would recommend a pay raise, he was that helpful.

Third time playing, can’t wait to get back to Nashville so I can play this course again! Love holes 1, 2, 10, 12 and my fav is 18!
Worst pace of play I have seen
No marshal and 3+ hour 9 holes. Not sure if it was just horrible play in front of us or they over booked but this was ridiculous. 10+ min wait on every tee box.
Price
You charge way to much for guests playing in your tournaments. I would play more but you out price yourself.
