About
Twelve Stones Golf Club (formerly known as Twelve Stones Crossing) sprawls across rolling hills, making the golf course known for its dramatic elevation changes. An even lie will be hard to find and golfers will also have a few blind shots in store for them. The undulating terrain makes for some difficult holes but it serves another, more player-friendly purpose of providing scenic respite with idyllic views of the surrounding countryside. The greens are lightning fast, but they roll true and there is rough bordering the well-manicured fairways. There are also several bunkers strategically placed throughout. It is a golf course that is challenging but still fun to play, a statement that holds true for a wide range of skill levels. Given the versatile design and affordable rates, Twelve Stones Golf Club is a popular venue for tournaments and outings.

Twelve Stones First Time with Rental Clubs
On a visit to Nashville for the weekend we decided to use GolfNow credits and I chose Twelve Stones. Shipsticks messed up my order so I was forced to play with Titleist Rental Clubs and they were more than I paid for the round but Shipsticks is supposed to reimburse me.
The course is "challenging" and I would love a chance to play it again sometime if I ever visit Nashville again even though I did not score well at all and lost 5 balls (autumn fairways were very dry and balls bounced and rolled forever - into bush and water....) Do not go above the pins on the greens as that was a guaranteed 3-putt at least given how fast they were with slope.
Elevation
Being a player from Charleston SC, I’m used to playing at sea level. This was a very enjoyable round, full of elevation changes and challenging elevation changes. I highly recommend this course.

Really fun and Challenging course with big elevation changes and great views!
Great Test
Dedpite my clubs not being delivered by a certain club shipping firm, I was able to rent Titleists and enjoyed the test despite losing 4 balls due to hard autumn fairways.. Played with two locals so that helped a lot because of all the blind shots. I would definitely play it again if I am ever in Nashville again.
