Not worth the money
This course is very overpriced for what it offers. This course is very short even from the tips and is also very tight. The course conditions are horrible with ruts on the edges of the fairways, dirt where grass use to be and poorly maintained greens. This is really a course for newer golfs, however, because this course has the holes on top of each other, this makes for very dangerous conditions. New golfers don’t hit the ball straight and with the holes being so close you will have golf balls landing near you. My cart was hit with me in it by a stray shot.
I originally wanted to say this course would be good if they lowered the price but I think the course is very unsafe.
Terrible course condition
Course was in horrible condition. It was full of pine cones, dead grass, many damaged areas, and poor directions to get to the holes. The par three 3s required all levels to drive from a fake grass mat. It is a municipal course that no longer is cared for.
Do Not pay here
I know it is winter here, but you can tell this course is not taken care of. There are dried spots all over that were mud at one time and they have not done anything to repair them. There were tees all over the tee boxes you can tell they have not be clean up for a long time.it is like a maze with all the holes being way too close together. Will not be back.
Course condition
Greens are immaculate condition. Fairways are practically dirt. Winter conditions are always tough but fairways seem to have been scalped at end of season leaving nothing but dirt.

Fairways are very hard although it is early season they were very very hard

Fairways were in rough condition and not great to hit off, the greens were pretty good though. I think it’s a good course for it’s price.
Go To Golf Course
Whittle Springs is the best value for money hands down. It's got some challenging holes but the course is very open. The greens are always in excellent shape and have lots of break.
Course was Great
The course was great! The gentleman in the Proshop was friendly and extremely helpful. It was my daughter's first time playing a real golf course, and I was worried we would be holding everyone up, but were able to keep up with the group in front if us. The day was enjoyed by both of us.
