Great but Bad
The course is in great shape, the clubhouse is wonderful, the pool is good, the driving range is down hill and offers a great view of the smoky mountain. Now ,the lay out. Out of bounds, the golf course is totally unplayable. The fairways are 20 yards wide with out of bounds on both side and water running around greens. Some holes play uphill and some down hill ( minimum 70 feet of denivelation) . #9 and 18 are terrible.
Would've been a great 27 hole par 3 course
This course is always in excellent condition and the clubhouse has everything you could want from the bar to the pro shop. The layout has 6 golf holes and 12 greens with backyards as fairways. The property was never utilized well and makes for very awkward rounds of golf. It truly could've been a great 9 hole course or even a 27 hole par 3 course.
Location and Time
Another course I was lucky enough to be able to play through a friend - this place was in incredible shape, especially for late in the season. Greens were fast but received the ball well, fairways were absolutely gorgeous and their bunkers (which I was told were new) were in great condition.
I'd play this course three times a week if I could with it's central location and great shape.
