Great Course
Course is in great shape. Greens are SLICK. Pace of play was a little slow due to frost delay. Hope to play here again soon!
Enjoyable 1st round outside this year!
I was lucky enough to have a weekend trip to Knoxville and got to play my 1st outside round of the year at Egwani Farms.
First, it is a stunning layout. I would call it more links style than a traditional tree-lined, fairway course, but it was really beautiful from an aesthetic point of view. Not terribly challenging, straightforward shot maker's course. The practice facilities were a nice touch, the clubhouse is beautiful, and the golf was fun. The course rests alongside a river on its furthest reaches, which added to its beauty. I would say, I really grade course on how many goofy holes they have. I would say that this course has two goofy hole, and they are both par 5's. I found that odd. It's not a bad thing, but both holes almost played entirely as 3 shot holes, as water came into play on both that broke up the fairways (11 and 18). Weird, but not terrible. The tee boxes and greens were in great shape for the beginning of the year. I had a great time, and would recommend that course to anyone in the area. I would play it again.
First round
Very nice course. Nice links style layout in excellent shape. Pace of play was excellent. Greens are a little tricky but consistent.vva bargain at the price.
Worth the hype
Love this course. Incredible greens especially for late fall conditions. Nothing bad to say. Carts are really nice quiet electric with GPS. First time won't be the last.
Nice greens
Very nice course with undulating Greens. Shot making course
A Perfect Day at Egwani Farm
I played at Egwani Farm yesterday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The course conditions were excellent — perfectly maintained fairways and smooth greens. The pace of play was just right, allowing me to enjoy every shot without feeling rushed.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the day even better. I also felt the value for the money was outstanding considering how great the course looked and played. The layout is fun and challenging but fair for all skill levels, and the off-course amenities were top-notch.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to play golf in Tennessee, I highly recommend Egwani Farm. Grab your friends and come enjoy a round — you’ll love it!
Very rude staff
Very disappointed with my experience at Egwani Golf Course. The staff was unfriendly from the start, and one individual in particular was extremely rude. Instead of offering help or patience when I expressed it was my first time at this course and was trying to find the first tee, He immediately claimed I was late for my tee time and spoke to me with unnecessary disrespect. Golf should be a welcoming and enjoyable experience, but the way I was treated here made it anything but. Definitely not the kind of atmosphere I’d recommend to others. There’s no reason to treat paying guests this way. Sadly, the negative attitude from the course staff overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable round of golf.
Beautiful
The weather was perfect and so were the greens. Fantastic conditions right now. Well done.
The best value in golf in East Tennessee
For the money, there isn't a better course around. The layout is challenging but rewards good shots. The greens were quick, but receptive to longer shots to the green. Fairways were immaculate. Staff is always super friendly. Definitely one to play.
