JUST FINE
I enjoyed the course and my round. I'll play again on my next visit to Powell!!!!
The Greateat par three course in America!
This course is challenging g and just fun to play! The staff there are wonderful people and I highly recommend anyone to play here!
Great round!
So fun to get out at a great value. Staff is incredible. Very friendly.
Not for people wanting to get better
Can you hit the green every single time? Good! Great course for you.
If you’re trying to get better and may miss a green or 2, go ahead and take the penalty stroke and drop. The rough is ridiculously long and thick. I understand the whole course can’t be fairway cut, but when you watch the ball land time and time again and can’t find it in a reasonable time, it’s not conducive to getting better or even having fun.

Good Morning,
You have a very valid argument. I will let the greens superintendent know about your frustration of the length of the rough. As for the greens and surroundings I am happy to say that we are in the process of making the golf course more playable. We have hired an architect to make some changes to improve playability and make it more enjoyable to play Williams Creek. Thank you for your time letting us know your concerns.

What could be
The Course is fabulous 18-hole par 3 course. Fun and challenging green complexes and variety in the holes. Scenic and full of wildlife.
Three issues: (1) the staff makes no effort to accommodate play-- the stock answer is that the golf course is full and no tee times until ..... even when the parking lot is half full and there is clearly time and space for additional golfer; (2) the pace of play at times is atrocious and "playing through" is a forgotten concept; and (3) ball marks are not repaired. Need a ranger to address pace of play and ball mark repair.
Love being out there, but hate wondering whether they will let me on.
Great course
They need to get someone out there to pick up the beer cans that have unfortunately been thrown Into the woods all over the course. Other then that a 5 star course!

Thank you for your comment. I agree with your sentiment on trash on the course, Our plans are to put more trash cans on the course and also have more strict policies on outside beer and alcohol on the property. Many of those beer cans and bottles are not purchased from Williams Creek. Anyone that brings they own beer will be either asked to return it to their vehicle or asked to leave.
Course is in great shape A++
Course is looking and playing great. The Bermuda rough is starting to turn winter brown. Greens accepting ball well and rolling true.
Fun course
Had fun they had a good pace of play, staff very friendly. Was my step sons first time course is good for a new player. You do need to hit the green or the small fairways the grass right off of fairways will make your golf ball disappear. Look forward to going back.
Great place for a twilight round
It’s a nice, leisurely golf experience. I played a nine-hole, twilight round after a workday. Somewhat challenging, but this was the first round I’ve gotten to play this year so it wasn’t too bad. Lots of elevation changes and some water hazards and forest to hit around. Greens looked like they were recently aerated, but still played decently. Picturesque setting, saw some wildlife along the way, too. The course isn’t fancy and the driving range, practice greens, and pro shop are pretty spartan. But, the staff was really nice and helpful, and the weather was absolutely wonderful. It was nice because I was able to go out by myself instead of getting lumped into a group (orindarily, I wouldn’t mind but I’m a healthcare worker and I’m trying to minimize exposure to others)—the course staff were happy to oblige. My only critique was that my golf cart did not drive well and was really struggling to get up and down the cart paths with the elevation changes. The staff member said this was a problem with several carts and they were having a mechanic come to repair them. So, it’ll probably be fixed by the time someone reads this and books a time time there. I’m an okay golfer—not great, not terrible—and I thought thought this course was a really decent place to play, especially for the price.
Surprising (but nice) for a short course
This was a very nice short course, but not at all easy (for me anyway). The course was in good shape and not busy. We didn't have to wait on any hole. The greens were very difficult to read. Overall a very enjoyable round.
Nice Par 3
First time playing this course and a fun par 3. It was well kept up as far as greens and tee boxes. The scenery is beautiful and a few of the holes are just visually impressive. The distances aren't that difficult and really helps the iron game. The difficultly comes when putting on certain holes. The key to these greens and holes is ball placement. If you hit the ball on the wrong part of the green you are at best getting a par and probably a bogey.. Overall a great par 3.
