Golfers under 10 not allowed to be on course
Good day as a junior golfer myself now 58 years old can not understand the reasoning as to how this golf club will not allow kids 10 and under to be on course due to insurance coverage.. Does this qualify as age discrimination and is the USGA aware of this course policy due to insurance. Why do they advertise on web site kids on course in carts and on tees playing have I been discriminated against I just want to play golf with my grandson and introduce him to the game I love and spend time watching grow .really disappointed in this establishment and want a USGA review of this course. Saddened grandfather trying to pass the game on .

My review: the staff, w/o exception, have a very good customer service attitude. They have rules and expect you to adhere to them but, they're kind and helpful. The 'greens' are very nice and well kept. On the other hand the course has a lot to be desired even though they've come a long way from where it was several years ago. But, by now there should be much more done IMHO to improve on what they had to work with. My suggestion was to take a hole every couple months and make major improvements that won't break the bank. 1. CUT/TRIM TREE LIMBS that have NO business hanging willie-nillie further into the fairways and lower than necessary. 2. APPLY TOP SOIL and grade out, reseed and make the fairways more playable and enjoyable. This will help eliminate swampy fairways. DO SOMETHING!! 3. REDO TEE BOXES because they're gosh-aweful!!! C'mon man, you have to know this. They're gosh-aweful!!! It may take a loan to accomplish this but MGC can have an amazing course in a yr and a half!
