About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

An enjoyable challenge.
Playing a challenging course is made much more enjoyable when the conditions are excellent. Fairways and greens are well managed and consistent from round to round. Winter conditions (2021)have been first class. I’ll be back!

Top 3 Courses I’ve ever played
Played this with a friend from Nashville for the first time, and it couldn’t be a better experience. Looked just like we were playing on TV! Greens were beautiful, fairways were excellent, and I will be back here soon! It had some very challenging holes, yet it rewarded you for great shots. Fantastic design!

Excellent Winter Golf
Legacy is in great shape for winter golf.it was a wet day but the drainage is well designed to make play very enjoyable. Staff is very friendly. I’ll be back.

Loved this course. Great layout. Hardly no side by side fairways. Well maintained. Great views along south mountain. Will become a regular go to spot.

Lots of blind shots, if you never played before, good looking shots can end bad or wet, but if I’d played before it would be a great course, it’s winter so it was soggy but pretty good

Great Course

Worth Playing whenever you can
An absolute must play at least 6X/yr.
Excellent conditions and staff on a regular basis.
