About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

Legacy review April 24
We were fortunate t o play this course after a moderate rain in the area. The conditions were remarkably good considering the moisture. This is a good course for the money paid.

Nice shape
The course was in great shape. Redoing some bunkers so they were filled with gravel. Even though it was damp, the fairways still had roll. The greens were very quick & you need to be on the right tier or you will have a challenging putt. Overall the course is in top shape for the Nashville area.

Tough Greens
The course was in pretty good shape, I am sure it will be in much better shape come end of May. The greens were extremely fast and the wind was blowing about 20 mph which made it difficult for the first time playing the course. Overall, it was a great experience and I would play again.

Decent track

Terrible pace if play
No one enforcing any rules. 90 degree today. Carts everywhere. Tee box, fairway, in front of greens. Tee time messed up.
