Improved Course conditions
Cart path had needed repairs completed & the carts were clean. Greens were in good shape, but the pin placements were very close to the fringe. Pace of play was quick. The ball washers need a flush out. There were many more positives than negatives at the course & we enjoyed the day.
Desert
The courses were under maintenance and they should all be. The greens were sand bunkers and the fairway was actually dirt. They should redo every course. I missed a 3 footer because it was so bad. I cried
Very Nice Course
This was a good course and certainly worth playing.
Weeds were a distraction. Fairways were wide and user friendly. The golf now price was very attractive and the course was certainly worth the price I paid.
Crummy experience
Played June 30th and here are the results of that visit:
Greens were below average and slow.
Course was full of 5somes. Slow play everywhere and the ranger was not pushing anyone. In fact, he was shooting the s___t with the groups.Staff was OK but did nothing to make my visit any better.
Course conditions were very average but the slow play eventually drove me away.
Greens
The greens are in much better condition and I love the new electric carts
Great Greens!
Greens were as good as anywhere I’ve been, Much better than courses for 5x the price. Only criticism is a lot of similar length par 4’s.
Great value, you won’t be disappointed.
Great Track
Course is in very good shape, Greens, Tee Boxes and Fairways were all very nice. I played in the afternoon, but there was a nice breeze that kept us cool. Pace of play was great, finished the round in 3 hours and 15 minutes. Highly recommended
Nice track
Good day at the Golf Course..We usaully have 12 guys on saturday. Didnt like the replay Price, They wanted $27.00 for 9 holes at 3:30pm .We only paid $35.00 for 18 holes .That's really high for 1/2 cart per person.
Needed a little attention around the greens
The fairways were in great shape, but the area around the greens needed mowing. Tee boxes were very nice.
Nice!
This isn’t the best course, but it’s a darn fine course! The course conditions were very nice, the greens being the highlight! Very true roll and good looking, though not as fast as other courses I’ve played (Panorama Villiage).
The staff was top notch!
2 dollar Bud drafts! I’m a micro brew beer snob. They had NO Houston brewery beer, which is why I gave a bad score on amenities.
Very worth checking out.
You must pair up "NO EXCEPTIONS!"
So I get to the course about a hour early to hit a few balls to warm up to get ready for my 13:20 tee time in the middle of a very hot day. I took a cooler with plenty of hydrating drinks and yeti water bottle to keep myself safe on the course and loaded everything on my cart and hit a few balls. I then came back to the starter and he tells me that there is another gentleman with the same tee time and that we MUST PAIR UP! "NO EXCEPTIONS!" I explained that I had several items and the pace of play would be much quicker if we each had our own carts. The course was not busy and I confirmed with the young man in the office that it would be fine if we had our own carts. I went back out and spoke to the starter who was adiment about pairing up and if I didn't want to do that then maybe I should play somewhere else and maybe could get a refund. I explained that I couldn't because I booked on golf now. The other gentleman tried explaining that the course wasn't busy and that he to had a lot of things and reiterated that it would help the pace of play, but to no avail. As the result of the starter insisting we pair up, we crammed all of our coolers and bags into one cart and had a FIVE hour round!!! It was 95 in the shade that day and this was ridiculous of the course to insist! I feel they could've accommodated their customers on this very hot day to make the golfing experience much better! The layout of the course is confusing too with 3- nine holes so I won't be back here. I'll play red wolf from now on when in that area.
It's ok
They have 3, 9 hole courses... so the gentlemen in the pro shop tell you where to play. I wasn't positive where I was taking my cart and where to start, that was slightly confusing (they could use some signs). The course was in good shape but there was a lot of traffic for being a Tuesday. I enjoyed myself and would there again. I just prefer playing by myself without a lot of congestion on the course. I feel more relaxed when I can take my time. Thank you ... over all. 7 out of 10!
Getting better
The course is improving after the hurricane and the greens are drying nicely. Still has work to be done with the tee boxes, but will continue to play as time moves forward.
