Atascocita Golf Club - Shores/Pinehurst Course

Course was in great shape.! Greens were smooth and rolled true. Fairways and Tee Boxes were flat with full grass. Course has put in a lot of hard work to improve course and it shows. I will be back and recommend anyone to give it a try!

Bit of a drive but have been wanting to play the course for a while. 9 of the 27 hole course was closed due to renovations. Nonetheless, the “Point” and “Shores” were in great shape. Many of the holes on both nines are lined with homes. Laid out away from major roads, so it was a peaceful round. Greens were slower than they look but were well maintained. I get the feeling that a lot of “regulars” play here and are set in their routines which kept our group from playing a bit faster. I didn’t see a course marshal to help with pace of play and the group in front seemed content in their pace of play. Not a lot of merchandise in the pro shop but had the basics. REALLY enjoyed the round; very beautiful course...will play again!

New super knows what he’s doing and has the course going in the right direction. Greens on Pointe 9 are excellent now after they were rebuilt. This place is a great bargain. And it’s a good challenging course!

Awesome course! Newly planted green are only 9 week's fresh. Easy play, wide fairways, not to many bunkers. I felt like the course was built for a enjoyable time more then a challenge. I would definitely play here again.

what an improvement from last season. the greens are top notch. Cant wait to play there again. I also appreciate the weekly newsletter. Management has stepped up to the plate and knocked it out the park. Cant wait to see how pinehurst looks in Sept. Keep up the good work.

Course was nice just wish we didn’t have to play the same 9 holes twice.

Booked a tee time first, the read the online reviews. Was afraid the greens were gonna be horrible, so I checked the website, and under the daily conditions was greens are ready for play! They were! Point side was good but the Shore course was rolling true. We’ll be back for sure!

Idk what they are doing to the greens right now but the back nine had no greens. The greens were basically just dead grass and hard dirt, I was just picking up my bad once I got it in the green area. The front nine on the other hand did have nice greens. All 18 holes had well maintained fairways. The holes really aren't that difficult as long as you can hit straight. Lots of beginners playing here so be patient and strap in for a slow pace of play/waiting to tee off. Some water hazards to be careful around too.

The greens on the back 9 are terrible, there’s no grass on them. I won’t be back until the other 9 hole course is open, which I hope is soon

The Shores’ 9 was in good shape. The Pinehurst 9 had nice fairways, sand traps & t-boxes, but the Greens were TERRIBLE! Putting was next to impossible. They were so bad that the price charged should have been significantly lowered. It’s hard to believe how fast these greens declined in the last few months.

The first nine holes were good. The next nine holes I was terribly disappointed because the greens were brown as in dirt with specks of grass on them. I left after 5 holes and said not coming back anytime soon

The previous time I played was great. Overall condition was good. This time around, not so. Shores condition was good. Pinehurst greens were the worst I've seen anywhere. I would have closed that 9 and either let people play point or Shores twice. Will wait till they fix the greens before going back.

Greens were in great condition. Course was fun and challenging. There are some really challenging greens which I enjoyed. Also for the price you can't beat it.

I saw this course shortly after Hurricane Harvey, and they have rebounded tremendously! A few greens are in great shape and some are improving. It appears this club is committed to providing a much better 18 hole experience. Kudos!

Fairways and tee boxes not in good shape. Course ok nothing special. Pace of play stunk got Caught behind a 5 some. And took forever. I asked are 5 somed normal and was told yes. Never again. Nice greens. Bad service and course.
