Conditions good. Average service
Course conditions were pretty good. Greens are very well maintained. But…
Kitchen wasn’t open in the morning hours. No drinks available (it’s SUMMER!). Water jugs on the course were empty. Cart girls weren’t out until after 11am. Crew not very friendly.

payment receipt
Get a receipt and check to see if they are adding others to it. Was billed for party of 8 and an unknown person, (first name Bill). Called and they collected their mistake, but if I had not requested a receipt I would have for an extra golfer. This was duplicated on the second receipt therefore I paid $33.** twice. After bringing it to their attention they did reimburse me for the difference. CHECK YOUR RECEIPT
Great municipal course
Greens were aerated last week and haven’t fully recovered. Everything else was great.
Cool course crappy crew
Awesome course, tried for a replay after 18 through golf now. Wanted 50 a person at 4pm. Responded would love a replay for less but Whitestone is 27 after 3 and in far better condition. Staff stated then just play there or somewhere else. Ended up running up to burleson. Greens where way better, blessing in disguise. Fun layout for à couse. Long drive mad poor attitude from staff.

Receipt ------ BUYER BE WARE
I usually don't get a receipt when I use a credit card for payment as I did for this golfing trip. We were 8 players and were charged for a ninth player. The course did correct the mistake but only after I called them. I will be calling back about being charged for the carts. when I booked online the carts were included and there is a charge for six carts or my receipt.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the error in adding an additional player to your charges. It sounds as though our staff did correct the error for you. Our cart fees are separated from the green fee on the receipt. The total of the green fee and cart fee combined is included in the price quoted on the website. Don’t play
Cleburne golf course for some reason does not treat golf now customers with any respect. They continue to tell me that they do not make any money when I book through golf now. I was told I had to ride in a cart with another person that booked golf now. I did not see him and took off at my tee time . Manager chased me down on the 4 th hole and asked me WHAT ARE YOU DOING? He proceeded to tell me how I was supposed to wait. Long story short I will not be playing this course ever again.
I am sorry we were unable to match your previous two 4-star ratings on Friday. We do value our Golf Now customers and appreciate their business. When booking on-line tee times, others may book at the same time and we do expect that those players play together in one group. I would like the opportunity to speak with you about your experience. Looking good
The course is looking good, the tee boxes are well kept. The fairways are coming back. The greens were recently punched and sanded.

I have played Cleburne Golf Links several times over the past few years. Each time it has been in excellent condition and a pleasure to play. Staff is friendly and helpful and if you have time, stop for a burger the grill. You’ll be glad you did!

Good Public Course
The location and course layout are fantastic. The greens are very good. Here’s the Rub, the fairways could be much better. This course sits on a lake and they don’t seem to irrigate. They have huge bare spots that need dirt and grass. Some of the fairways are in decent shape but this is a theme that’s been going on for years. Fertilizer and Weed control would help some. There’s no excuse for this. The Carts are whipped. They desperately need new carts. My wife sat on plywood that had most of the cushion that was missing. Cart #18.
The grills burgers are very good. Please fix your fairways. No one likes to play on dirt or hard pan.
Thank you for your feedback. Yes, we have a few fairways that have struggled since construction. Last year's drought and water restrictions did make things a little worse than previous years. We have completed soil samples and are working on an enhancement plan for the soil nutrients in these areas to improve conditions.
As for our golf carts, the new carts finally arrived June 5, after being order for 15 months.

Nice course
Nice course by the lake, just watch out for the fire ants. Not sure what they can do about them though
