Cleburne Golf Links

I’ve never been on a course where the turn isn’t by the clubhouse. You don’t pass the clubhouse till 16th. So it would be wise to take your own snacks. Also it was 105 degrees and they didn’t have the drink cart rolling around. Poor hole placements. All were cut into the side of the hills. The carts were all trash. Seats were missing chucks of them.

Course is on the lake. Really enjoyed playing here and the staff were super friendly. Great practice area and driving range. I will definitely be going back. Was well worth the 30 minute drive.

Had 3 groups of players all scheduled at the same time. Management are unfriendly and not understanding.

Pretty good course over all. No one to manage tee times on first hole so the first few holes are crowded and need to be better managed. Staff is not rude but is also not very helpful or friendly. Once you get past the staff and first couple holes it’s a really nice and well maintained course.

course is in good condition, greens are rolling true. good to see Jimmy back behind the counter

most if not all golf carts are in bad condition. one flite let two other flites go through as they waited for a replacement cart to arrive. it seams as if every time we play this course the carts are not as clean as other carts of other courses.

This isn’t the first time we’ve played here. The course is beautiful and challenging. The people we got teamed up with were awesome. However I have encountered rude service with the lady that checks us in.

First, she has her legs propped up on a chair, and as she is on her phone, doesn’t even look up or acknowledge me. And when I speak to her first, she just says to go ahead and go out. And the first time, she didn’t even tell me where the carts were or where to go….I thought the first time, she just had a bad day or something. But nope. I hate going there because I have to deal with her.

Course was in pretty good shape considering how dry it has been. Challenging course with lots of ups and downs. Carts are fast with a nice built in cooler which is a nice touch. Water coolers were full of cold water and ball washers were all in good shape. Can’t wait to play here again.

The cart shop yelled at us for having 3 carts on the golf course and accused us of not paying for them. We went out as a threesome then there was a gentleman who didn’t have a party to golf with. He was in a separate cart from us but we invited to join our threesome. When we got to the 3rd hole the cart grinch came out yelling at us accusing us of stealing carts. The lady’s at the hamburger shack could also add a touch of hospitality to their restaurant. Worst golf experience in the DFW area do not recommend to anyone.
