Horrible Staff
The cart shop yelled at us for having 3 carts on the golf course and accused us of not paying for them. We went out as a threesome then there was a gentleman who didn’t have a party to golf with. He was in a separate cart from us but we invited to join our threesome. When we got to the 3rd hole the cart grinch came out yelling at us accusing us of stealing carts. The lady’s at the hamburger shack could also add a touch of hospitality to their restaurant. Worst golf experience in the DFW area do not recommend to anyone.
No on course amenities
The girl in the grill was about the worst I’ve ever seen. Didn’t want to be there didn’t want to help customers was very rude to everyone who walked into the grill.
There was no cart girl out on the course and it was a holiday.
The Links
I’ve never had a problem with this Golf Club, been going out there for years (even before it’s current layout). It’s tricky in the wind, but always fair. Only thing I’d suggest is occasionally moving the tee markers and pick up the broken tees. I know it gets alot of play, but relocating the tee markers so golfers aren’t standing in divots isn’t that hard (I’ve done it, and they pull em to mow anyway). The new native grass area on #5 makes it a completely different hole too!
Awesome course
We playing during the Memorial Day weekend. The course wasn't busy at all. The staff was very friendly. Tees, fairways and greens are in great shape. Would definitely make the trip out to Cleburne.
Pace was great for this time of day, great playing conditions, staff was very friendly, the hamburger was superb.
Great course
Great couse to play,even though it was windy Great challenge.
Don't forget to get a burger and a cold beverage. Food is outstanding
Enjoyable true links course!
I really enjoy playing at this course. Tee boxes are in great shape as well as the greens. You can certainly tell the Cleburne is working hard to make this a great public course. I will certainly be back again!
Greens
Putting green was alittle bumpy. The greens on the course rolled better, but had been punch a few weeks ago it looked like. Another couple of weeks and they will be much better
Fun course
Fun course. Friendly staff. Greens have a little bit of poa anna still on them to make some greens bumpy. Greens are very fast. Pace of play was slow from people looking in the native areas for lost balls. Great value.

Very nice course, with a challenging layout, great view of the lake
