Well I've been playing this course since it was originated and even when it was the "Muni" and I must say the course is in the worst shape I've seen it in... ever! The greens are missing big patches of grass, they are hard, and fast! The fairways are dry and are also missing patches of grass... you would think with the mass amounts of water this course has available to use (lake pat) that this course would be anything but dry.. I don't know if it's mismanaged but they are going to have to do something to the condition, because the more I play it the more I believe it's not worth the money I'm paying. Why would I continue to play it at 40 bucks a round when I could drive up to glen rose and play an immaculate (minus some runaway bunkers) Squaw Vally course for a few dollars more. Overall disappointed that such a greatly designed course could managed to be so bad!

Really enjoy the layout of this course, great tips on play of course from staff,best burger west of I 35. Have played with some the best people in the area , from the staff to other players at course totally friendly people , I have been playing there for about a year and plan on many more years to come

Greens need significant work. They are mostly burnt out and/or diseased.

This course had a great layout for any level of golfer. Practice range is in great shape. Fairways are not yet as plush as practice tee. Greens are coming along, a little slow but nice size. My buddy and I played here in 20 mph winds. It was a great challenge.

Very nice ciurse. Outstanding value. We will make the drive again. Wind was a bear coming off the lake.

Playing this wonderful layout is fun and in a stiff wind it can test your A game.

I find this course to be in great shape. I like that they offer discounts for VET's. They also help me and other handy cap players. The greens are challenging. The staff is super great and there service. Thanks for the great offers on Golf Now also.

I had to drive 40 miles to play at this course, but I think it was worth it. The course was in good condition and the greens were lightening fast. I wouldn't mind making this drive some time soon again.

This course has an excellent layout, fun for all handicap players, the staff is very friendly and helpful, I have been playing this cousin for almost a year now and consider this my home course, never over crowded, pace of play is good , other players are friendly and alow you to play thru if their pace is slow,

Best greens in DFW for a public course, hamburgers are top notch also and the beverage cart waited on us 4 times, will definitely be back, keep up the good work staff.

We played during 18-20mph winds wow. This course wouldn't be so hard except for the wind and many lost balls. If you didn't hit straight shots you would be punished with a lost ball as the rough was very thick and made locating your ball inpossible. This day we weren't the only foursome searching for balls in the rough. The greens were fantastic they would hold shots and putts rolled true, if the rough was a little more sparse it's would have been perfect. Staff was super nice and even handed out a book that was similar to a yardage book.

I have a local course 15 miles from my house but drive 35 miles to this course twice a month. The course is just challenging enough without being to difficult. Greens are in great shape and fast and they are installing new bunkers. Great course for the money.

Beautiful day for golf! Staff and players always friendly. 5 star rating for staff and burgers! I rated 5 star on everything. It was still winter, and fairways, etc were still dead, but the facility was immaculate and practice amenities are well played out. Look forward to coming back out and using my bronze membership which BTW is and EXCELLENT value!

The course is in good shape considering the time of year and recent weather conditions. Heavy rains end of last week and thru Tuesday but course drains well. Greens putt true and are in good shape. Good staff and good food at the grill. Excellent hamburgers. If you haven't played Cleburne, give it a try. There are a tee box suitable for everyone.

I worked for the course as they opened then a year after. I got a chance to see this coure develope into a unique challange and adventure of play. I mean, long narrow slopping fairways, rolling greens, oh did i mention the winds from the lake. excellant greens and fairways. I have played close to 70 rounds, enjoyed everyone, worth the $$.
