nice layout
Had read the good reviews and wanted to try this one out. Nice wide fairways........not a lot of trouble unless you really mishit a shot. Greens were in very good shape for winter. I will be back again.....want to see this place in the spring and summer.
Terrible service
Worst service I have ever had, driving range is always closed...
good bang for the buck
nice little course, played on a tuesday and did not realize the local golf team practiced there, cut my rd short after course became clogged up. i didn't mind, loved to see that many young golfers playing.

This course was very nice and fun to play. It's not a hard course to play and is enjoyable.

Great course for the money
We played in the heat of the day, so we basically had the course to ourselves. For such dry conditions, the fairways were very nice. They had just sanded the greens, so they were ok. We will definitely be back!

Home Course
This in the course I frequent the most and I can't get enough of it. The staff is really nice and the course is in nice shape. The greens on each hole can be inconsistent when they aerate it, but most of the time, they are well maintained. Will all the rain we got in the spring, the course is still beautifully green.
The wind from Lake Pat is a blessing and a crutch because it's much cooler to play from the wind, but at the same time it affects your game. I love that there are no sand pits, but there is a lot of Nature around it to make you lose balls pretty easily if you don't hit it straight.
All in all, this is the course I chose to play at every time and to me it's the most underrated course in DFW.

Ok shape
The course was really green. Which I expect with the amount of rain we have had this year. But greens were extremely fast and kind of sandy. Was not really happy with green maintenance but other than that great time. Super friendly staff.
GOLF-guys only, ladies forbidden.
Unfortunately, still too many men unwilling to let a woman play thru or join up. Perfectly willing to pair up with the twosome ahead of me waiting on every hole on the 4 some ahead of them. They begrudgingly let me go ahead thru as did the two 4 somes of elderly gentleman (very nice). They also gave me a "pink ball they found" (sorry, not interested). I'm aware a single has no rights, but wouldn't it be better to just join up or let someone play thru, and thru, and thru? My round took 2 hours, 10 minutes. It generally takes me 1 hour 48 minutes. I'm an 8 handicap and shot a 77 that day. Guess what, not all woman play slow (actually, we're pretty quick. We also don't all play with pink golf balls!)

Great price and greens
I play this course often even tho I live in south Fort Worth. Excellent greens and practice facility. The course has great staff very friendly and overall one of my favorite courses. There's always a breeze off the lake which keeps u cool.
Great Time on the lake
Great course and in good shape....they just airiated a few days before but greens did fine....We travel an hour to play here and well worth the $$$$

Course is in great shape! Lost fewer balls this round except when they find the deep grass and leaves...the wind makes it tough

Lots of fun
Lots of fun on this course that makes you think with a lot of high risk high reward shots. Play in the fairway and you will be fine. Greens held well and rolled very true. Lots of fun and look forward to playing it again soon!!!!
Great course
Excellent course for the money. If you are looking for a course away from the metroplex, look no further. You will be glad you played this course and will probablly play again.
Always windy but still my favorite
Not the easiest course but the challenges are less frustrating and more educational.
Favorite course
I have played courses all over and always come back. This course allows overall game improvement without the frustration. Wide open, well kept and varied level of challenges. Bring water balls LOL. The staff are genuine and helpful and the people playing are generally the most polite of anywhere I have played.

On behalf of the Cleburne Golf Links Staff we apologize that the driving range was closed. Cleburne received record rainfall last year and we discovered significant drainage problems with our range. We chose to close the range for a month to address these issues. The new drainage system will be beneficial to everyone in the future and, will allow the range to re-open much faster after inclement weather. Once again we are sorry for the inconvenience, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
