this course is well maintained. its a bit of a drive from fort worth but we think it's worth it. its a fun course to play with 4 sets of tees that makes it fun from the whites but challenging from the tips. I have played both. They have a great hamburger and friendly staff. the greens roll very true and were almost flawless when I played yesterday.

I played this course three times 2 years ago. Fairways were burnt and so we're the greens.

But now almost perfect. Go play!!!!!

The course itself was excellent, in great shape mostly. Thick rough that sometimes ate the balls, making them hard to find, but usually escapable. There was a junior tourney that slowed the pace down to a crawl, which was tortuous in the triple digit heat. If you avoid the days when anklebiters are running around, it would be a great course to play.

The course is in great condition and ready for play. Very surprised the greens. They were the best I have seen on a municipal course this time of year.

All I can say is this course is in great shape!!! Fairways,,tee boxes,,and the greens rolled true and can't remember seeing 1 blemish on any of them. You better stay in or very close to the fairway because the rough is really rough,,but this is what makes this course a challenge ,,and the greens are huge with alot of rolls and breaks in them. was my first time to play in 3 years and shot a legit 92,,played the ball down and if it wasn't for my 3 tee bombs that cost me to hit 3 from the tee and the 4 3 putts and the 2 4 putts,,my round would have scored much better. It is a great place,,the Young man in the pro shop was great and the hamburgers area must!!! .I will most certainly play this course again and I would suggest if you want a good challenge but not just so tough you cant stand it ,,play this course!!! we played the white tees and next time I will play the blue tees and I think it will be much more challenging especially on the par 3s. Thank all of you at Cleburne Golf Links for the round of golf that has now made me want to play much more golf again,,and I promise that there wont be many more 90 rounds ,,,and soon there will be few in the 80's,,,Shaking the rust off the clubs and more so the body!!

Arrived at course early and was informed there was four groups of five going off ahead. Staff advised us to start on hole three in order to avoid a slow round. Very good advise as we never encountered any slow play. Course was in great shape!

Course is in great shape, fairways have plenty of grass, greens are smooth and putt well.

Played mid-morning. Not too crowded yet. Course in good shape. Greens are best course quality. Recovered nicely after being punched. Driving range hitting area excellent. Could use marshal and cart girl. Didn't see either one.

This Course is just OK for me but not worth the trip from Fort Worth where I live. I go there to meet my golf buddy that lives in Waxahachie. The boat noise from the Lake is distracting most of the time. You can hear people yelling on the lake too. Lots of gnats, and flying insects, bring the OFF! If you live nearby then this is your go to, but it's not mine...

I've played many rounds and have enjoyed every single one. I was worried about this round because of the alert on the greens being punched the day before but was very pleased with the greens. Could hardly tell they had been working on the course. Beautiful course!!!

This course is a great value. Depending on the tees you choose, you can get a good test of golf. Good layout, well maintained, and consistent greens make for a great golfing experience for all levels. Pace of play could be enforced better, but this course is definitely worth the money.

I play this course frequently & really enjoy it. It is in better shape every time I play here. Tee times are a free for all, it seems you just get in line & go next regardless of tee time. While I do like the easy going atmosphere it automatically screws up the pace of play.

I only got to play half of the course because of thunderstorms, but I what I did play, I liked a lot. From the pro shop, driving range, chipping and putting greens everything is top notch. I live over a hour away, and I will gladly make the drive back to finish my round.

For as wet as it was the course was in good shape. I like the layout

Nice course layout pace of play was good food was good. The only down falls was the tee box, fairways, and green were very dirty way to much debry but over a good course especially for beginners I will be back!

Typically play nicer places so maybe my view is off. Staff was very friendly and the burger is very good. That's about all I enjoyed. Course was pretty firm given the rain and the greens were spare. Putting green appeared to have not been mowed in a few days, but regular greens were much faster. Fairways and especially the rough was full of weeds, tee boxes were ok to fair throughout. I had much higher expectations based off the previous reviews. Quit after 15 holes because pace of play was terrible. Multiple large groups of 60+ hr old men and they did not care to let faster groups play through. They were your typical local muni regulars.

Windy day on Lake Cleburne. Course is fairly easy with no wind, mildly difficult with it. Good greens but a little slow. Course is recovering from flooding quite well. Pace was good. Price was fantastic.

Excellent fair course for the money

Really enjoy this course with only one complaint. They let too many singles and 2s off without pairing them up. One one occasion our foursome let three singles and three twosomes play through on the front nine. They really to try to do something about that. Other than that we really like the course and staff.
