Great greens
Good course with nice greens but no sand traps .some really good holes though
Impressed!
My first time on the course since the re-build. Very impressed, the greens were very good as were the fairways. The only problem I experienced was that the foursome in front of us (a twosome) would not let us or anyone else play through and they were very slow. Spent a lot of time looking for lost balls! The associate at the golf shop warned us that that might be a problem! Not very courteous. We let several single players through but that foursome put the halt to all those singles. Great Course Though!
Thank you for your comments...... We have increased the number of marshals to improve your experience..... the course continues to get busier and the amount of singles continue to decrease
Nice course with good views of the lake
I really enjoyed this first time around this golf course. Greens are 10 days past the last punch but rolled surprisingly fast and true. Not a bunker on the course, but plenty of trouble off of fairways.
Really good burgers in the grill with a nice deck overlooking the lake.

Very nice course with great views of the lake.
Haven't played this course in awhile, forgot what a nice track it is. Will definitely play it more often now.

Great course!
The course was wide open because the temperature was 100+. Considering the hot weather, the course was in excellent shape. The greens were a little dry, but rolled true and fast. Overall, a great place to play golf.

Great Links style course for avid golfers
The course was in great shape and was challenging from the black tees. The course staff were very friendly. A heck of a deal for $10 per player on GolfNow "Hot Deal". I highly recommend this course for any level of golfer.

One need to come down and play this course its fairness is great but can be challeging. Big bang for the bucks you will have fun.

No sand traps
Course was well manicured. Greens recovered from aerating. Twosome played in less than 3 hours.

Had a good morning on the course!!
I played a decent game this morning. Only complain was I had to start on the 4th hole due to a children's tournament taking place and a foursome on the 3rd hole. Overall good morning!!!

great course
This was a wonderful way to get back to the game after a 3 year break. I think the greens were a little too watered but overall a great way to start playing again. I think it's pretty difficult and you have to think your way around the course. I like the challenge. Thank you for a great golfing experience.

Still needs a little work
The course is getting better after quite a bit of damage to the greens during the winter. Some greens still have very rough areas where patches were placed. Recent aeration also has the greens a little bumpy. Course could use some more water in some places. Some players need to work on their golf etiquette as well. Overall the course is getting better.

Good course, good value
Played 18 in 4-4.25 with a foursome. You are at the farthest point on the course at the turn, so you don't hit the clubhouse until you finish 15. With the links style layout, you have a lot of room to save errant shots. Greens were in great shape. Wind off the lake comes into play on about 2/3 of the holes.

some greens need help,if wind is up this course plays alot harder.

Very Nice!
My first time at Cleburne Golf Links. Course is on the lake with nice views and is in great shape except for the putting greens. Greens had issues with browning bald spots.

Greens are a little rough
The greens have some dead spots fur to the harsh winter and some drought. Too bad since usually they excellent. Still good enough to play.

This coarse is fairly easy. Only thing that I do not like is that you don't get back to the club house till hole 16.

Is it a green, or a patch of dead grass?
Good luck putting here. Every green had big dead areas. Almost every sign has been hit by a mower. This course needs repair. Maybe next year will be better.
We appreciate all feedback at CGL whether negative or positive....... Our greens will hold up to any course in the area now.... come out and see for yourself
